@Dezboyz Justwin Ok, we can agree on some level there. The question is why are we acting like Dalton is the answer? A historical loser and turnover machine. Far more turnovers than Dak. In equal circumstances, worse completion percentage. So, I’ll be looking to hear from after a few games.

@Football Philosopher I’m nit saying dalton is answer but from what I’ve seen of him he is a better passer then dak and more accurate and have better post snap reads dak fans apologists rooting for him to fail and I rooted for dak for years to get better but he has limitations and is mediocre holds the team back I think dalton is a upgrade

@Dezboyz Justwin The problem with you’re logic is that you’re using your feelings when stats don’t lie about completion percentage. it’s clear you didn’t watch Cincinnati or you just have a bias against Dak. Dak goes through his reads pretty well, he’s not the most accurate passer. He’s not Drew Brees, he’s also suffered from poor coaching, scheme and play calling for 3 1/2 years. My issue is, we’ve seen Dak with terrible circumstances and we’ve seen his floor. 2017 without Zeke and Dez couldn’t separate. 2018, Dez was cut and his pass catchers were poor to say the least. Add in a poor scheme. We saw him struggle, yet he competed and had minimal turnovers. Did you see Andy Dalton we he lost AJ green? He was terrible!!! Did you see Andy Dalton when he had a bad defense? He continued turn it over. In short, if he’s as good as you say, and he’s only 33, why isn’t some team making him their starter and or trading for him? If he’s better than Dak, than he’s Elite. There’s no such thing as an elite starting QB who’s a backup. We’ll see over these next three games or so.

@Football Philosopher ok excuses for dak dez had to play defensive back on those passes dak threw to him no dez didn’t get a lot of separation but he was open dak bad ball placement made dez look bad. I’ve seen enough of dalton to know he reads defenses way better then dak abc is more accurate on a consistent bases and hits receivers in stride more often. Dak had s bad read against browns when he threw the ball to cooper that got picked yeah blame coop
And coop took blame like players do not pointing finger but coop was only a decoy ball never posed to have come to him dak had two open receivers that ball was supposed to go to. Poor post snap read that’s on dak. Not saying dalton is best or great just better then dak . And no stats don’t lie but stats don’t win games and he got those stats against sorry teams and garbage time and he 7and 16 against winning teams

@Blazer The face that these guys talk like this is just proof that playing football doesn’t make you a scout coach or GM! If Andy Dalton at 32 is better at these things than Dak and it’s plain to see, than there’s Zero chance he’d be a backup. Say what you will about Dak, His floor and his Ceiling Are clearly above Daltons. If he’s so accurate his completion wouldn’t be so bad, and his interceptions so high.
