The Cowboys are going to Cowboy. IMO I see a trade back and they grab Delpit. Then in the second round grab a CB. I think they double dip at CB. Look for that second round risk CB like Noah Igbinoghene. I see a WR at third and a QB with the 4th or one of the 5thslike they did with Mike White. This front office is betting the farm on Gregory, Aldon Smith, Tyrone Crawford, and Dorance Armstrong and will wait till the 4th or 5th to address DE.
Better hope I don’t get to choose the pick because I would trade it for Jamal Adams

I agree with Jerry on Adams…If they get him then where does Dak’s money come from…Nah Pick a cpl safety’s and a corner in the draft and let a new guy shine to the same potential without the hefty price

I loved when they said u can get pressure multiple ways cuz that opens the door for many different options..instead of forcing urself to take a traditional DE like Taco much earlier than u should just cuz TJ Watt doesn’t weigh enough u can now just take the best player..opens the possibilities to taking edge guys like Baun or go more LB heavy and look at Murray if u wanna blitz more with atheltic LB’s..I like this approach cuz it doesn’t lock u in to HAVING TO take specific types of players at specific positions and end up reaching and losing value with ur pick

and that discussion about developing assets that can give u trade value in the future or replace other starters u currently have to avoid having to pay massive deals is EXACTLY why u take the best possible talent u can with each pick..in the NFL as soon as u think a certain position on ur team is all set and u don’t need to draft for that position?? and u let a top talent pass by? u can quickly find urself suddenly needing that position but having a lack of talent to fill it cuz u ignored talent that was right in front of ur face..if we had spent resources at WR or RB the last few yrs who knows, maybe we wouldn’t have had to pay Zeke and Amari the kind of $ AND a 1st rd pick like we did..literally if u have just 1 injury at WR we could suddenly struggle mightily to score pts..point is they should take the most talented player they can each pick cuz the better player u take the more likely they will return value to u 1 way or another

Trade back from 17. Pick up another Day 2 pick and increase the chances of drafting another future starter. Hope they can grab starting CB, WR, and DT out of this draft. Would not surprise me if they end up with Ruiz if they trade back.
