Looks good but looks can be deceiving. We have a bunch of new pieces, pieces we have yet to see perform. So how can you/we possibly make the claim that our defense will be good? If anything we need the vet CB Jimmy Smith back
@Maximum Effort I was speaking to no excuses for the defense. It has been the majority of the spending for this team. And yes, we should hold this team to a high standard.
What we really need is pressure up front. D-Line and Edge getting home with 4 and dropping 7 will be critical if we plan on running more zone designs. FYI, I recommend checking out All_22_Films on YouTube. He puts out a lot of analysis offensively and defensively. I highly recommend his channel.
MAybe one day they will give reporters mics when they ask questions at conferences. I can dream

This our oline is still a question mark, we don’t have depth a reciever, once again we’re asking Lamar to carry an talent deprived offense… If I’m Lamar, if ravens don’t offer the contract he wants, I’d walk after this seaon

Still incredibly worried about the middle line backer postition. Hopefully Queen can tackle this year. I know that sounds harsh but we haven’t had stability at middle backer position since Mosley and Orr

Agree. I think he’d be a great 4-3 linebacker for someone else but to his defense he’s still relatively young. I think he work well as our will linebacker for now

Last year injures hurt us a lot, the secondary was not gonna lie kind of bad, and the offensive line was bad. We just need everyone back from injures, the secondary to play good, and the o line too be really good. And if we do that we havs a chance to win the surper bowl. We also need wrs for lamar to throw too last year it wasnt the best.
Shemar Bridges would be a great addition to our offense, hope he keeps showing out and proving me right

I’m so mad about that undrafted receiver group. It’s so way below average. Other teams have taken advantage of the depth in this draft class and gone ahead to get insane talent at the position. Ravens wide receiver scouting is terrible. The Rams have got Lance McCutcheon, the Broncos Jalen Virgil, the Saints Rashid Shaheed, the Jaguars Kevin Austin Jr. Even the Bengals added a stud from UFA to their (already) talented receiver group in Kendrick Pryor. That Ravens wide receiver scouting team should be evaluated and some people should lose their jobs. This is just terrible that we have Shemar Bridges (who’s av BTW) to show.

I think this year will be entirely dependent on how good our OL is. If they have another shaky year and Ronnie doesn’t come back, I don’t see a deep playoff run. If they develop into even a top-10 unit, we can beat anyone.
