    Spillane is not winning anything. Merril Hodge has excited all of you for no reason. Devin Bush is going to be playing with reckless abandon. The Steelers did not pick up his 5th year option, and so this year he is auditioning for every team in the NFL. His next contract will be the most important one. It will be the one that financially secures him and his family forever. Devin Bush is going to be one of the best inside linebackers in the NFL this year.

If there is one way Minkah Fitzpatrick is like Troy Polamalu (the G.O.A.T.), it’s that he prepares for the game and plays the game without worrying about the accolades or the money. He just wants to be the best possible player he can be and leave NOTHING to regret.

    I’d give anything for him to play at Troy’s level. Troy was the greatest at his position. I miss having him on field terrorizing everyone. Bro would be off camera an make it look like he wasn’t paying attention an next thing you know he’s jumping over the linemen to get a sack or tackle an times the jump amazingly perfect. Miss those days fr. He’ll def go down as one of my top 10 Steelers players ever

Robert Spillane…what can I say, this guy loves the game. I love his fearlessness and his drive to get better every day. Some people take these opportunities for granted. He may get the start over Devin Bush, so don’t be surprised.

    @jw1 Bush was terrible last year. He was usually out of position, apparently disinterested, and often just overmatched, as running backs and tight ends often swatted him out of their way with a slap… I believe that this year will be different. He will go and play with the passion and abandon of Ryan Shazier, so that given the value of the position he plays, the Steelers will pay him, or someone else will… Bush has to get the money with THIS next contract. Bush is the 5’10 height of a corner back playing the position of men who are typically 6’2. He does not have the physical size to withstand the punishment at his position for a prolonged playing career. He has to get paid now, because in 4 years, when his next contract should be due, I expect him to have been driven out of the league by injuries… I just do not see this guy playing in the NFL for more than 8 years myself…

    @Mike Bordonaro That is what I am hoping for… If Ogunjobi can compliment Cam, and Alulu is back with the grit and fearlessness of his usual self… Watch out… TJ is gonna have 32 and 1/2 sacks, Highsmith with 15, and the Steelers defense will be number 1… All we need is the offensive line to protect Trubisky… I think he will be an upgrade over the aged and hobbled Big Ben we saw last year… Man I am excited
