Steve Wilks speaks for the first time as interim head coach

Finally a coach with a set of balls 😂 he sounds more aggressive and determined then Matt. Steve looks like a coach that will have you running drills all day if you mess up

I gave up on Rhule last year when he brought Cam in mid season to throw him under the bus and when Rhule moved Moton from RT to LT. And the Rotating QB was just STUPID.

Rhule “ALMOST” made Ickey play LG because he needed to “earn” his LT position. Who the heck drafts a LT1 and not play him at that position?!

Rhule was definitely a problem here.

So pumped to have him back in. I can’t remember when I could breathe and feel this well about the direction of our team. We’re only two games back and as crazy as it sounds Sam darnold with the new line could keep us in the division lol. After everything that we’ve been through it’s crazy to even think like that, but let’s be honest we don’t have to take this year if we can get Lamar Jackson

His head coaching position press conference, has more authenticity and optimistic energy, than Matt Rhule and Riverboat Ron combined. He already got that Mike Tomlin/Bill Belichick, ain’t telling you 💩 about our game plans, just watch next week attitude. Feels and sounds good so far🤷 Only time or next game will tell.

Steve has been a part of the Panthers for a long time. Nothing but respect for this man. Wish you the best of luck!

I like this approach with this coach love the ability of our season ..guys the season is still long we can and will turn this around ..in life and in sports you need to have faith in your team…forget the other teams they are also playing ..we need to focus on just the locker room and the Panthers … love this coach …it’s one game at a time and we all have to #keeppounding … let’s go…he gots me fired up!!! I like Steve Wilks and am really pulling for him. Sounds like we’re going to be more aggressive defensively, less zone, more man & blitz packages. I’m optimistic at what they can do offensively. Can’t get much worse. My fear is that unless this team can get things turned around immediately, CMac will be traded within the next couple weeks. KEEP POUNDING!

He may just be the right one to do the job. He’s been behind the scenes for a minute. It’s about time! Let’s see what he can do. He’s getting his chance and I wish him the most luck 😊
