I’ve been skeptical of the gameday experience surrounding keep pounding more as it relates to how fans are connecting with it. I obviously respect and love everything about this mantra. Seeing what it means to some of the panthers greats reinforces that even more so. I’ve been a fan for awhile so I was here when Sam’s impact was felt here. But the reality of what I see is this fan base is largely built from the Luke Keuchly/Cam Newton era. Most don’t feel any connection/may not even know who Sam Mills was. I think the team is really pushing this which is fine. But I do see a slight disconnect with how broadly they are wrapping this franchise up around this and just the general pulse of the fan base emotionally from it. I only say that just cause I feel as though it doesn’t speak to the bulk of the fan base as it should. I believe it should still remain in some capacity, but I do feel like they need to create more identity in other avenues that connects more with the fan base that has accumulated over the last 5-7 years.
As always when I leave any message about my panthers. For you Sam KEEPPOUNDING
