Let’s go Mason 🔥🔥🔥

Mason Brooks

I have lots of faith in him and his growth! Also, we share a name 😌

    Ryan Irwin- Diehl

    C. Antoine Hill I see Carolina in a much better place to get him, I have no idea how much draft capital it would take to get Lance but I’m sure other teams will be looking to get him or Fields as soon as Lawrence is off the board.

    C. Antoine Hill

@Ryan Irwin- Diehl man….. Purdy and Newman with be on the board.

    C. Antoine Hill

@Ryan Irwin- Diehl check out Sam Howell and Kedon Slovis.

    C. Antoine Hill

@Ryan Irwin- Diehl also Dylan MacCaffrey.

    C. Antoine Hill

@Ryan Irwin- Diehl so either way, I’m ok with Ben staying one more year.

Dane Bednar

Let’s go Steelers

Dane Bednar

I have faith in mason last year he was just put in a situation he wasn’t expecting

    TheRedvapor

Dane Bednar I think the jury is still out on Mason I don’t think he’s reached his full potential yet

    TyBritt1829

There are many players who took advantage of their precious opportunity

    STEELERS Pittsburgh

Getting knocked out by a cheap shot from the ratbirds game may have been shaken his confidence. I hope that he bounces back and show what he has. Go Steelers 👍

    Steve Love

exatly… basically he was a rookie … he played well other then cleveland and he was injured multiple times…he still had 12 tds to 8 ints and i think he threw 4 of his ints vs cleveland….so say he threw only 1 int in that game..he avg less then 1 a game…so that means in the 10 games he played …he would have had 12 tds to 4 ints…people would be thinking entirely different about him…anytime your a first time player and you throw more tds then ints thats encouraging….in contrast duck hodges threw 5 tds and 8 ints in 8 games !! I think mason learned…he looked like a different qb playing vs the jets…he was firing the ball in between defenders that game…playing very well before he broke his colar bone…. hes got a good deep arm…he was the best in college football completing the deep throw….i myself am hoping for paxton lynch to take the backup spot…hes a no 1 draft pick…hes huge 6-7 …has a rocket arm and can run better then anyone on the team…. hopefully they strike gold in him….denver never gave him a shot…they were impatient….gave up on him and never even played him a full season after investing a first rnd pick in him…let him go …instead they traded for case FREAKEN keenum !!!! Genius move their elway…. you dont invest a first rnd pick and all that money and not play him at least a season…he played in 5 games with a 4 tds -4 ints 76 qb rating…. thats not too bad….with his height and arm and ability to run it turned him into a first rnd talent… got to develope him…but he never got a chance in denver….right now he is the best runner on this team and has the strongest arm and that includes ben…hopefully they can salvage his career….hes got immense potential !!

Supercook49

The guy has more room to grow they wouldn’t grab a QB if they had confidence in Mason

Brandon McManus

Steelers need to give these young guys a chance

jco2131

He had a huuuuuge opportunity to show what he had. Granted he’s young but damn show everyone you have that “IT” factor while Ben was out.

    TheRedvapor

Brady didn’t have the IT factor right away either when he first came into the league, he was good but wasn’t anything special.

    EdmacZ

    Ryan Irwin- Diehl

Ben showed something, but he also wasn’t asked to do much and had a fantastic team and a great running game around him. He was also backed by a top tier defense. Ben had statlines where he would only throw 15-20 passes a game. Sometimes even less than that. It was the perfect storm for him. He also had a QB coach in Mark Whipple, and Charlie Batch there to guide him.

Mason was left on an island where had to cobble together mediocre offensive talent and rookies backed by a regressing Offensive Line and no Quarterback coach. He brought the Steelers back in contention after the horrible 0-3 start despite nothing around him. The Defense was there, though.

    EdmacZ

Ben’s “it” was the great team surrounding him. Not Ben.

Trio of excellent veteran receivers to throw to in Burress, Randle El, and Ward.
Offensive Line stacked with Pro Bowlers.
A HOF Running Back and a Pro Bowl back spelling him.
Elite Defense with a future HOF Safety.

Ben just just asked to do the basics and bare minimum, and let his teammates do the rest. That’s where his “it” came from.

Name a player on the 2019 Steelers was on par with the talent of the 2004 team.

    Black Wolf412

@TheRedvapor thats the point Mason isn’t good he is average

    Chevy Guy

I remember when Bradshaw wasn’t considered The Guy when he first played. He made a lot of mistakes. Mason will mature into a fine QB.

Black Wolf412

Yal crazy if you believe in Rudolph smh..He average at best, not a QB thats gonna WOW you,but a Dilfer type yes.So our defense will need to become elite to win with Mason..period!!

    C. Antoine Hill

I’ve been saying this for the longest. Dilfer is his ceiling. We need to draft our future franchise QB in 21.

    TheRedvapor

Black Wolf412 he has the tangibles/ basics of a QB1 but there’s still a lot of room for growth to grasp the intangibles and minute details a QB1 has to possess to be a full time starter

    C. Antoine Hill

@TheRedvapor there are more QBs coming in who are way more talented than him in future drafts. Lance, Newman, Purdy, Howell, Slovis, McCaffrey, etc. Both coming into the 21-22 drafts.

    Black Wolf412

@TheRedvapor Mason is a Mike Tomzack at best period

    EdmacZ

Our Defense will need to be elite with Ben. With anyone on our roster really.

NBA Pablo

I love this franchise and if we can craft a future Hall of famer outta this guy it’ll be spectacular.

FacelessMan

I have faith in Mason, I like his arm and accuracy, he needs to work on his footwork and pocket awareness but I loved his showing last season despite all the adversity he and the team faced. LETS GO STEELERS.

C. Antoine Hill

This guy is not the future. Trey Lance, Jamie Newman, or Brock Purdy. If not the next draft, the 22 draft will have Sam Howell and Kedon Slovis.

Tj Armstead

Naw…

seanmcerini

Ignore all the haters Mason. Go about your business and prove them wrong.

    CZECH MATE

Everyone was bashing him at one time last year. Myself included. He’s a solid QB & a. QB coach will help them all!!

    Weldon101

I know he has it in him, make the haters choke on their own words

Richie Davis

Best franchise in the history of the league

Nick

That’s my QB! Next Tom Brady!!!

    Weldon101

THATS WHAT I’M SAYING🔥 LETS GOO

Frederick Miller

Big MASE! Low key I’ve always been a fan. Take a few years behind the legend gunslinger and you’ll be just fine

wshgtnry

MASON, PLEASE WORK ON YOUR FOOTWORK! YOU’VE GOT THE TOOLS, but you’re still to flat-footed in the pocket.

King Hutchinson

Steeler Nation,
Please, let have some faith in Mason this year.
He has a new Qb coach, I believe it will help him grow up in the pocket.
Give another chance…💪

    Weldon101

People really need to. I’ll never stop rooting for this man, 1) because he’s my quarterback and 2) because I can easily see an improved and developed version of him leading this team’s future

Yinz_ burgh05

It’s whack a mole Rudolph
