Robert Smith

Allot of routes were being ran where WR’s were ending up side by side next to each other.

    DK Lewis

Interesting……if true, says a lot about the coaching. Like basketball, the unit is more affective with spacing.

Alex Roberto

Mitch gotta go. It seemed like he wanted to avoid incompletions at all costs. Right before half he tried to run out of bounds and got sacked for a 5 yard loss and we had to use a timeout. THROW THE BALL OUT OF BOUNDS! He did the same thing in preseason. He’s either dumb or trying to pad his stats for when we bounce him out of town.

    Kenny Couch

you guys are booing him already? how the heck is he supposed to get any confidence in learning the offense if you guys are calling for Kenny Pickett every Sunday? I swear man. Sometimes our fans suck.

    Leslie Long Jr.

@Kenny Couch , yes, we are booing our QB. Along with our offensive line play that can’t pass protect and most of all. Can’t open up holes for our running backs to run through. A lot of us are also blaming Canada, for his play calling. Why not put the blame where it belongs. It starts with the head coach and his coaching staff. We have three great running backs. So why not start 3 tight ends, a fullback, and one wide out when we want to run the ball. The offensive line needs all the help it can get for our running backs to run through. Right? Starting 3 wide outs and a tight end is not helping the running game. The current QB is not helping either. Our fans are right on blaming him for the poor play of our offense. The blame does not fall on our offensive coordinator. Example: In preseason with Pickett or Rudolph at QB. Canada’s play calling was just fine. The reason being that Rudolph and Pickett were getting rid of the ball, quickly, to the open receiver. I have seen enough of Trubisky. If Tomlin is afraid of starting our rookie QB? Start, Mason Rudolph. We all know that Pickett should be starting. That is who I want to see under center. If you can’t see that Mr Couch? I can’t understand why not.

    Kenny Couch

@Leslie Long Jr. In preseason Trubisky was doing fine too but that’s why it’s called preseason. And don’t forget that Rudolph and Pickett were looking good against second and third stringers. Not saying that Trubisky is doing well at the moment but to give up on him after two weeks is ludicrous.
I say see if he improves week by week. Then, if it stays the same or gets worse replace him. I want to see Kenny as much as anybody but chanting Kenny in the games is a real prick move and won’t do anything to improve the situation.

    Kenny Couch

@Leslie Long Jr. Seriously that sounds like something the crappy Philadelphia fans would do. Is that what we are now? Eagles fans?

    Alex Roberto

@Kenny Couch Confidence won’t fix Trubisky. Watching the same peewee mistakes in the hopes that he will improve to a Jr High level QB is the definition of insanity. We’re the Pittsburgh Steelers and we don’t have time for “doing fine”.

It seems like every time the Steelers play the Patriots the game ends with Steelers making more mistakes and not making the most of opportunities

KrackerJack5586

Another sad year starting off with a lot of Hope and nothing to show for it but same old tired offense so so sad mediocre quarterback like last year and this year and the running back overhyped

Terry Bradford

I agree with Pomp they need to increase the pace more. And throw the goddam ball deep to Pickens!!! 🤬

Jigar Amin

Changes needed.. we must start from offensive coaching. It looks like fitchner legacy continues with Matt Canada. This offense is blowing up our defense talent. Needs dramatic changes in play calls and some players

Brian Woods

Pittsburgh is rebuilding. They need T.J. Watt and they need to fill the shoes of Big Ben.

David

Mitch has no guts, energy, decision making or accuracy. We signed a backup and we’re sitting our #1 who could be a needed injection to the offense.

Craft Beats

I lost all hope in mitch after that hail mary that barely reached the red zone

    mike rhem

Lol I saw about 4 hall marys yesterday. Mitch was the only one who’s fell 20 yards away from the endzone

NOYFB

I counted 1 pass that Trubisky actually set his feet dude stayed throwing off his back foot or off the bootleg, I know our line is bad but ffs sometimes you gotta stare down the barrel to make a play, Matt Canada and Trubisky can catch the next flight outa town ASAP!

mpuchar

We continue to get out-coached by Bill Belichick, going on 20+ seasons New England has been our daddy. High caliber coaches don’t have 3 playoff wins in 11 years.

Put KP in, and get rid of Matt Canada ffs.

    mrman3523

Out played not out coached. This game came down to witherspoon not high pointing, Sutton not intercepting, and gunner muffing. Give me a break

Sean Artemus

After 2 games at this pace our whole defense will be on injury reserve bc the offense can’t stay on the field. You’re gonna wear them out!!!

Fralsii

Damn Bob was relentless today, love it

Stanley Sheffield

I just want Mike Tomlin aka coach bookworm, to answer a question without the spin.
Local Media, crack his damn shell.

John M

This just goes to show 1. Canada and Mitch need to play rock, paper, scissors to see whose let go first. 2. Tj is clearly the most important player on the team. 3. Run defense started lookin real suspect as the game went on.

Wiggy Bends

If they start Mitch against Browns and he doesn’t start putting up points and converting third downs in first half – pull him and put in Mason. If that falls flat stick the rookie in against the Jets.

K2 B

What ever this team does i hope it makes a positive impact and helps us win games and score more points because this will be a long season

Dave Newton

The offense is exactly the same as last year, with the exception that our QB was a hall of famer. In the business world, they usually don’t fire the employees first, they fire the guy on top. The Steelers are going backward into the future.

Leslie Long Jr.

What? Is Tomlin seeing the same thing I am seeing on TV? With one of our best defensive players side lined up to 4 weeks. Our offense is struggling to score points. Our defense played well enough for us to win the game, but our offense is the reason we lost. Our QB play is the reason we lost. Along with our offensive line did not pass protect or open up holes for our running backs to run through. Why isn’t our coaching staff playing 3 tight ends, one wide out and a fullback to help with the running game? Yes, by doing this the opponents defense knows we will be running the ball down their throats. Let us realize that one tight end and three wide outs is telling our opponent that a passing play is a possibility. Instead of a running play. This isn’t working. We can put the blame on our offensive coordinator and his play calling. The other factor is that when our rookie QB was playing in the preseason. Canada play calling worked just fine. The fact that Pickett got rid of the ball quickly. The offensive line play did not matter. If I can see this. Why does our Head Coach not see this? Tell me Steeler fans. Do you agree with my comment?
