How come the bucs didn’t trade for Bradley Chubb? Shaq was already out and they could’ve had a running mate for Joe Tryon

I like how the media will talk about jj watt celebrating Jared Allen’s celebration and say it’s disrespectful. But shaq just celebrated ray lewis obviously as homage and cause he from b more but you don’t hear that on the media. Get healthy sack Barrett. Hope your recovery is fast man! @Troy Polamalu #Pittsburgh #Dynasty #FreeWatson I wouldn’t say garbage. If your looking at sacks compared to year 1 yeah it doesn’t rank high. But he gets pressure on qbs. He’s a pass rusher. Not a run blocker. He’s great in gap control. Way better than Devin white who can’t control gaps to save his life. Also if you look at his snaps on defense in the games and literally just look at where shaq is lined up it’s not on the line. They are playing him in zone and bringing him on blitzes. He’s not getting the reps during the game he needs to pass rush since he’s purely a pass rusher. Also don’t forget that that 19 sack season was just on him. Jpp and Suh are also gap controllers and allowed shaq to pass rush way more while they controlled their side. Which is what led to him getting 19 sacks from what you remember. We don’t have jpp or Suh anymore and you’re expecting him to be von Miller or Micah parsons. He’s not even being utilized to his potential. It’s positioning bruh. If Bowles would just let him stay on the line instead of trying to be fancy and take him into zone he’d probably have better pressure and the thing everyone loves to see. Sacks. It’s just him and vita out there who know how to control their gaps on runs. Vita isn’t a pass rusher and gets double teamed on just about 60% of the time. The only legitimate pass rusher we have on paper on that d line is shaq Barrett. I’m no offensive coordinator but if that’s only 1 guy I have to worry about getting to the qb then I’m going to scheme him out the game. And so far teams have done that. Are we watching the same season? Lol. Who y’all really need to be mad at is Devin white. His blown coverages and gap control is so bad. Anyway I digress. I’m not here to convince you. But you should look at the snaps Barrett has had in games and see what the defense is asking him to do when he’s not good at that. Shaq can’t play zone. He can cover a flat route by a running back at best. 😂
