I’ll add some more things:
The game isn’t too big for him (it was for Scangs at times… he got way too gun shy with Lock)… he’s always upbeat and having fun (which is what the game should be all about)… he’s humble and not a brat like Cutler or a young Elway (Elway learned – Cutler never did)… he scans the field… he’s good at extending plays/making the OL look better… he sells play action like a vet… the entire team just responds to him for whatever reason. He has that “it” factor you love seeing in a young signal caller. Now that we know the Sheriff is tutoring him? The sky is the limit.

@Uso Penitentiary No. He got to the playoffs this season, gotta get the ring. He had a coming out party this year, though.

It’s been exactly 2 months since Drew Lock made his NFL debut. I’ve been waiting two months to hear what Shannon thinks about him.

Everyone is so high on Drew Lock. He still has a lot to learn and improve on.
Just remember that Brock Ozweiller won 5 games for the Broncos on their way to
winning Super Bowl 50. The Texans snapped up him up and he was a bust and was everywhere else he played.
I have high hopes for Lock but I am a wait and see on him.
Not making a case for Brock or defending him, but the Texans did not help him at all. He fit in Kubiak’s offense. He would’ve done better, whatever that would’ve looked like, had he stayed. He made his bed though, wanted to get paid and was butt hurt over the benching. He could’ve come back as the starter with a championship level defense and the Dame offensive pieces with him talking over for Peyton.
He’s got plenty left to prove but thus far he’s proven enough to gain the respect of his peers
