Simms and most media heads ranked Taysom Hill, Drew Lock, Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, and Teddy Bridgewater and a bunch of scrubs over Tua and not one of them has ever or yet to have a season as good as Tua’s 9 game rookie numbers and they all suck. Now Hill gets an excuse for not having a stud running back and a healthy finger. What big time running back and healthy finger was Tua playing with against Baltimore earlier in the season to now? Simms is in his feelings and can’t admit he was way wrong

Wow, Simms really showing his true colors. All of last year these two kept pushing the narrative of “we love Tua as a kid” and even had him on the show. This is beyond critical observation, it’s a blatant personal attack in the most demeaning way. They’re like bullies picking on the quiet kid for no reason other than to make themselves feel good. Absolutely shameful.

Tua has more touchdowns in his first 2 years than Chris has in his whole entire career. Lol.

3:20 I gotta say that as a 50 yr old man watching this reminds me of a school yard bully. Simms, I bet you wouldn’t say something like that in front of your own children, or have the inclination to teach them to speak about another person this way. They’re giving Taysom Hill “a break” with 3 interceptions cause of a “broken finger” and he has “no help” so they basically just described what Tua is going through. Broken finger, no help, difference is he has no interceptions, has one of the best QBR ratings in history over his last 5 games despite having the worst o line in football 💀 these dudes are just angry that Tua is making them look stupid. Simms obviously mad that Tua is already a better QB than Simms could have ever imagined. Who btw only has a career thanks to his daddy

Also, according to PFF, Tua is ranked 13th for throwing the ball 20+ yards down the field. This is interesting, because he’s the 3rd lowest for average time to throw. He has very little time to get the ball out of his hands and he’s still doing excellent job. The best thing you can do now is never to mention his name, again.
