Essentially a rookie ? lol. he has been in the system and QB room w/ Drew long enough. If he don’t get it by now maybe he never will. Time to start questioning his Football IQ. If there’s no pocket presence , he can’t make the reads progression and ultimately the throws.

Nobody has been making excuses except for the Winston promoters. That is all I have heard and Winston NEVER played with torn ligaments in his throwing hand and foot. He is not that tough. Back to your point about excuses. If I am Sean I tell Taysom to do exactly what he did last week which is if your 1st read is not there pull it down and take off. Josh Allen killed Tampa by doing this and he is not nearly as fast as Taysom.

Well firstly, as exciting as it was to get the ball down the field with Jameis , I have already come to grips with losing him as our starter. Also I am perfectly fine when ever Taysom decides to take off and run, that is his strength (wish he would slide more). My concern has always been his arm and decisions when passing.. when the 1st read and the open lane to run isn’t there, Decision time! Right, Progression time! pick your order here, to my eye test this is where he unravels – dating back to past seasons. He had a lot of time with Sean and the system & yet was Beat out by Jameis & Trevor tbh until recently Trevor loses the start. So now we’re here. With our run 1st wildcat QB was the vision for him and rightly so. But let’s be honest and I don’t think for a second he was ever gonna be what this Team/offense needs and demands as QB1. If The Saints are gonna contend seriously. It will not be with him under center. As of right now, this is what the rest of the team & fans are left with.. out of misfortune mind you. Until I’m proven otherwise. It is what it is.
