The Last Saint

The fact that we are starting the a journey QB who can’t figure it out until the 2nd half doesn’t make since to me. And also why can’t the Saints media afford better mics? Is this a 1980’s wire tap?

    Undra Johnson

We need a better quarterback and some receivers who can get open and catch the ball secondary need to stop giving up the big play every game

    Marty Frost

@Undra Johnson p well dude we aren’t going to get better receivers now and we have to put up with the quarterbacks that we have so you explain to me how we’re going to fix this issue I don’t think we can fix it I think we’re done with so let’s just look forward to the next season

    Eugene Rollins

The last saint why you dont comment on fisk channel no more

    Johntavious Hardwell

    @IBN fax!

    Johntavious Hardwell

Referees?

Jerry Pore Jr. aka The OG

This is a wake up call!!!!

    T. SCOTT

    Sho u right

    Johntavious Hardwell

    We must beat the Seagles.

Virgil Green is a free agent. He played with the Broncos when Trevor was there, and they had good chemistry. His biggest disadvantage is that he isn’t an exciting, break for big runs kind of player, because he isn’t fast. That being said, why run when you can trundle a 6’5″~260lb long armed frame up field. He’s an amazing blocker and catches most of what’s thrown his way. He doesn’t have a job because most offenses look for route and running ability from TEs, and the Chargers have some amazing talent at the position for that (last team he was on). He doesn’t have that, he’s a steamroller. I believe he would help amplify the run and pass game with his blocking, and be an option to get contested balls in the middle of the field with his mismatched size. I’m sure the scouting department is already looking at value option free agents. I haven’t seen as much film from most of the available options out there, but he came to mind as he sort of gives the Saints something they don’t have for not a lot of money. I think a tall, reliable hands TE would be a big help. He had an ankle injury catching a TD week 7 of last season, and his contract expired.

    dbsti 300

That actually makes sense. Everyone was on about getting Beckham, which made no sense.

Cory Green

START TAYSOM HILL. WE WILL WIN

    Johntavious Hardwell

@Eugene Rollins why thank you 😁

    dbsti 300

    @We Just Talkin. Agreed.

    dbsti 300

@Johntavious Hardwell The Rams had a perfectly good team going. They felt the need to sign OBJ. That dude will bring their receiver core down. He’s a diva. Unnecessary distractions. They made a mistake.

    dbsti 300

@Eugene Rollins Mind you, I’ve always wanted to See Stafford get a ring. He’s wasted his time with Detroit and now he’s on the right team. But the Rams f*cked that up by signing OBJ. That was a huge mistake. Why get him, when that team was already firing on all cylinders? They made a huge mistake signing OBJ the drama queen. I want to see Stafford get a ring. He ain’t doing it with a distraction like OBJ. He’s negative energy. And yes, I watched the MNF game against the niners. That receiver core went down the day OBJ arrived. There’s a reason even the Saints passed on him.

    Scott Laborde

    No, we won’t.

Newulettle Anderson

We had our chance to win but pre snap penalty killed

    Scott Laborde

The 2 point conversion would’ve tied the score…..not given us the lead.

Cal Joh

That same officiating crew consistently make bad calls during Saints games that seem to affect the outcome of the game.

    T. SCOTT

That Helmet call was so bad until it was funny. They throwed so many flags until they should have just gave Titans the TD. It was pathetic.

    Robert Salmi

It’s a conspiracy! I really do think that.

    Johntavious Hardwell

@T. SCOTT Man! It wasn’t even HELMET TO HELMET contact! That ref must be blind n stupid! That play should’ve been reviewed and would’ve called an Interception!

    Johntavious Hardwell

@ AW Earle i never said u can challenge it 😕 like dude, it was a 2 minute warning before the end of the 1st half. Im saying he should’ve look over it. If u dont like what im saying then ignore me.

dbsti 300

Will everyone please stop it with Taysom? He’s not gonna start when Siemian got a 105QBR, 300yds despite the receiver core, and 0 interceptions. There’s absolutely no reason to start Taysom. They’ve already caught on to his run game, plus he fumbles more than he should. Trevor isn’t the reason they lost. For Christs sake, stop it with Taysom. The Saints don’t have a QB problem. Don’t fix what ain’t broken.

    dbsti 300

@Tempest Love He’s not better than Jameis. Jameis can run and has a deep ball from hell. As for now, Siemian keeps mistakes to a minimum so far. I’ll take that. I’m thinking that if the Saints had an above average receiver core, then Siemian would be on fire with this team.

    dbsti 300

@Tempest Love Also, it’s hard to say with Winston and Siemian. Siemian throws the ball and gets it to their hands and chests, they’ve been dropping it. Why? I don’t know.

    Tempest Love

    @dbsti 300 right

    Tempest Love

@dbsti 300 they actually catch the ball with Winston.

    dbsti 300

@Tempest Love A professional receiver is supposed to catch the ball from any QB unless it’s some inaccurate over the head or below the waist pass. Winston is out. They get paid millions to be professionals and adjust. Again, when Siemian throws the ball directly to them and they miss it, I don’t want to hear about Winston. Adjust to your new QB, or get lost. There’s no other option right now for the receivers. They have to make plays and prove they are capable receivers. Talking about how they caught the ball with Winston is completely irrelevant right now. I hope Payton gets them right.

Xanzaa

Nothing against Trevor because he’s been serviceable but I think this team would benefit with taysom at qb since the line is banged up. To many lost drives due to Trevor getting sacked since he can’t move in the pocket

    Whodat 4life

Hill no better so what’s your point tevor better passer then hill

    Scott Laborde

Are the recievers going to catch the passes from Taysom that they are not catching from Trevor????? This is the question that needs to be answered.

    Whodat 4life

@Scott Laborde dude it’s not Trevor you gotta get your eyes fix fr the saints went down this road with taysom he doesn’t fix Sean offense get over it bro

    Scott Laborde

@Whodat 4life Bro, Read my comment again and ask someone to explain it to you if still don’t understand what it is saying!

    Whodat 4life

@Scott Laborde I understand what u saying it’s not Trevor the problem the saints have no wrs that’s reliable

dbsti 300

I’ve been through the 80s and 90s Saints. Today’s younger crowd seem to get spoiled to a HOF team, and expect the same performance during a rebuilding season. Trust me, its better to get used to losing sometimes. Otherwise, you set yourself up for disappointment. There’s no other coach I’d rather have than Payton. He’s the best one they may ever have.

    Rillion22

exactly that, don’t be upset that it’s over, be happy that it happened. You go ahead and point for me at the other instance in saints history where they went to the playoffs back to back to back to back.

    dbsti 300

@Rillion22 I don’t think it’s over. That run with Brees was a good one, but something is telling me this coach will get the gears turning again. It’s not over. Maybe its not this year. Maybe it’s not next year, but as long as that guy is coaching them, he’s gonna get it right.

    kevin weeks

they lost a lot of people from last year not just players just like any job it take some time to get on point it will get better may not be this year

    RoecityD aka William Dickersen

Why people keep saying “Rebuilding” when they have their core players intact 🤔? Thats not rebuilding its retooling. If players were not hurt it would be a different take.

Barbara Cohn

This is a heartbreak. I give us an A. These ? are ridiculous-We had it. We lost it because of bad/crazy calls, 2 missed field goals-penalty’s-We were better. Our QB’s completion’s yards was better than tannehill. Harris, Ingram, Callaway. Tre Quan all excellent, Titans didn’t have Henry. We did not have Alvin, MT, Jameis or Will. Titan fans are all over social saying the same, they thought we were robbed.

    Shaun Whelan

The problem with playing this “if that call didn’t happen” game is, nobody knows what would have happened afterward if the call wasn’t made. Everything changes. Maybe the Saints go down and get a touchdown. Maybe the titans get a forced fumble like they did on the kickoff in the third quarter. It’s impossible to know, and if someone says otherwise, they’re being intellectually dishonest.

That call definitely sucked, but it was early enough in the game that other things may or may not have happened. It’s impossible to know.

Robert Salmi

It’s the new Saints! Brees is gone and the Saints go on! Thank GOD we still have Sean!

Ray Rich

Im 3 of our 4 loses, we only scored about 20 pts/gm. In all our wins, we scored about 30. Moving forward, for us to win, the O needs to score at least about 27 or one extra TD. Our D hasn’t played “lights out” but well enough to hold teams to under 27.

aaron morton jr

I don’t neva count this team out. We’ll be just fine. We can beat anybody ⚜️⚜️⚜️

    Scott Laborde

We can beat anybody except the Giants, the Falcons & the Titans!

Scott Durose

They give Taysom a 4 year deal worth $140m, then play Trevor Siemian over him. Can someone please explain why he’s not starting at QB? We have the highest paid backup QB by far and we won’t play him at QB. Taysom has to start!

    Mitchell Milano

It’s a cap deal all of those years are voidable

    Scott Laborde

Hill’s contract is all fluff….after this year…he has no guaranteed money left…..he can be let go without any cap penalty.

brian garrett

Hey this team not playing with heart think these guys don’t want to have a winning season
Fight

Eric The Intern

Just dont lose against the Dallas cowboys thats all im saying i refuse to lose to the cowgirls

La'Deuce

How we gone keep up wit the top teams in the league wit all this s*** goin on on offense . Our defense is Top 5 but offense just fell apart no Thomas no Drew no Jameis no Sanders only Ak and Ingram . We Need to rebuild this offense asap

TheDustoff9
