2022 -2024 drafts and 2023 free agency. If a lot of hits happen over the misses, this franchise will be rad.

I honestly expect our first two picks to be focused on the trenches and pick 71 to be a receiver.
@ikenna59 Receiver class is deep. If there is better value at OL at 39 than receiver, you go OL.
@James Keffer If Watson or Pickens are still there at 39, I can see us go receiver there. Otherwise, I think we could get better value for receiver a bit later.

@Alex Amerling out of Watson, Pickens, Dotson and Burks, I feel like one of those guys will be there at 39. If that’s true, we must take whichever one it is. If I end up being wrong, I wouldn’t even mind Skyy Moore at 39 or trading down w one of our seconds for Alec Pierce. If receivers start to pile up, we can’t risk waiting for 71 and reach for a Kyle Phillips or whoever. We MUST get Fields some good receiving help out of this draft.

OL, CB, WR, S are the biggest needs, not necessarily in that order. If you have guys in mind with certain draft picks and UDFAs, I can see 3 tech or DE drafted too.

I knew I like this man he has a smart approach about what he’s doing what he wants. And most important where we want to be up on top with a respectful team. And I think Coach Flus bring a lot more to our franchise then people give him credit for. You get a real openness honestness and humble feeling with both men like really on the same page for us. Very deep draft to rebuild and acquire young talent. I wouldn’t be surprised if Quinn gets traded for 3rd RD pick. At 39 ideal pick is Kenyon Green (G great hips and moves people off line ) if not available trade back for 2nd and 3rd. At 48 ideal pick is Jalen Pitre (CB always around ball and playmaker) or Roger McCreary (CB plug and play opposite of Jaylon) or trade back for another 2nd and 4th. At 71 ideal pick Jamaree Slayer (T can play LT or guard) or Brian Asamoah (LB plays fast and great instincts) if we get additional 3rd Martin Emerson (CB another physical corner and great tackler) or Cole Strange (G good value pick at guard) 4th round Danny Gray (Wr big play opposite of Mooney) or Kyle Philips (WR love this guy in slot plays like Cooper Kupp) or another CB. 5th RD Brian Robinson Jr (RB physical runner for short yardage)
Just the statement we are constructing a very good football team shows how naive he is…very good sounds like playoff deep run or super bowl. With so many variables in a football season and considering your second year QB, mediocre defense, and bum offensive line. That’s a extremely bold statement.
It makes real perfect sense on why GM Poles is the new Bears GM. He wants to build the draft and bring a newcleus feel of what his vision of this team would be in the near future of winning a Superbowl down the road. Bear Down!!!! In Poles and Eberflus we trust.

His answer at 14:20 was very intelligent and the exact kind of stuff I’ve been saying! Emotional Bears fans simply can’t understand that because we’ve always had lopsided players. We were never an overall good team, just a few pieces. I trust Poles!

Did a little digging and research he’s a freaking communications major from bc no wonder he can articulate a clear concise and smooth answers to these questions nothing but hope and luck for the this team I see us finishing 2nd in nfc north this year optimistically and 3rd in nfc north on the low end we just gotta be able to compete and finish games and we’ll be decent this year 👍

If they don’t take a wr, oline, or db with the 2 second round picks I’m gonna be upset. Because our cb2 situation last year was awful. Fields needs protection and more weapons
