The end was disappointing, but there was a lot of good this year. Identified, drafted, and developed the two best players in the draft so far. Turned Q into a top 3 DT. Reed played at a pro bowl level. Hall and AVT looked like superstars before their injuries. Not many rosters have acquired that many great players, and they deserve credit for that. The culture, although not perfect in my opinion, was vastly improved.

My one big problem was the QB situation, though I think the blame can really be spread around. Calabrese was under-qualified for the role of developing Wilson, especially behind LaFleur’s inexperience, and it’s Saleh and Joe D’s responsibility to recognize that, and to recognize the importance of Wilson being put in the best position to succeed. They traded away a young QB who the owner liked for him, so there’s a ton of pressure to make that work, not to mention the logistical ramifications if it doesn’t and the lack of feasible alternatives.

It’s incredibly reassuring to hear that they plan to address the role that was supposed to be filled by Greg Knapp, even if it should’ve happened sooner. I think Gary Kubiak would be an excellent hire if he can be lured out of retirement

Lookit coach..the guys youre so proud of quit on you..a team that loses 6 games in a row shows no heart no guts. Earlier in the season games were lost by a few points here and there..the last were a total team collapse..had your guys show any sense of urgency the results would have been different..no guts no glory no playoffs..coach, look into a mirror..physician heal thyself. Better each season under Saleh. Changes are needed but he’s the right guy.
