I first saw the Boston Patriots in 1968 at BC. They played Namath’s Jets on their way to NFL immortality. Jerry Philbin, a RI kid and my Uncle Jim’s friend, got us tickets. For so many years, except for a precious few seasons, it was hard to be a Pats fan. Drew Bledsoe and Robert Kraft changed that. We thank you.

The patriot missile. One of, if not the classiest player of all time. Still have his autograph framed on my wall.

Thanks Drew for making the 1990s for me: what a great decade for a lifelong Pats fan (born in Framingham, Mass., in 1971). Our family moved to Columbus, Ohio, in 1985 and therefore we left the NE area: but we discovered Ohio state football. My sister went on to get her graduate degree at Purdue and now is a tenured professor at Ohio State. My mother got her master’s at Ohio State, and I did my graduate studies at Penn State. I remember Terry Glenn at Ohio State and how phenomenal he was. To have him then go to play with you and the Patriots was special, making the decade a really fun one. I was sad, as many were, to learn of the tragic news. Seeing you with Mr. Kraft drinking wine in your hometown reminds me that some things transcend, like friendships that last decades. Cheers and the very best wishes to you and your family.

I remember that draft and I remember being so happy that the Patriots found a very good quarterback to play for our team. Drew did start at all. Very happy for all his success in the relationship he has with Mr. craft!

Brent Gustafson

My favorite QB as a kid watching Pats games. I really wanted us to win in ’96 with Drew, but Brett Farve said ” hold my beer while I win this superbowl “
