I like this hire. As a matter of fact, I like all of the hires so far.
My gripe – and this is maybe unrelated to football – is that so many people acknowledge God, but don’t proclaim that they love him. Anyone can say thank you when you get what you want – but to say I love God would be transformative to the human being watching this.
I Love God. That he loves me I don’t understand – but I am externally grateful.

Who did you want? There were a couple of good guys “available” but you never know what goes on behind the scenes.
@Thomas Gena Rich Bisaccia was the goal, and honestly… I know this franchise needs a fresh start, but Chris Tabor was a good ST coach too.
@Connor Muckerman Those are two decent coaches — especially Bisaccia — but remember, the Bears used to have Dave Toub, too. He was excellent, but time ones on.
Wasn’t Bisaccia hoping for the Vikings and Raiders’ top job? I’m sure he got a bundle for the Packers.
Either way, the Bears have good players on ST — they should be fine, especially applying H.I.T.S. with accountability.

@Thomas Gena I hear ya there. Only issue I have with McCaskey’s is them proving to be a bunch of out touch old timers that are stuck in ways of the past that could potentially lead to situations of mishandling the team. I’m liking so far what I’m seeing this off-season though with the hirings. As always got to wait to see the product to know for sure.
@Taylor Augustine Your description of “the Fam” is pretty accurate. But it’s also exactly what George admitted to being: more of a fan, than an NFL expert. They were on a good path with the hiring of Pace. But Nagy got nuts in his second year and changed their “identity” from the Kyle Long/Jordan Howard Bears to the Matt Nagy genius playbook Bears.
I think they’ll be fine with Pace’s roster (plus and minus the coming changes). But, it’s like you said — we’ll have to wait and see.
