one of the great match-ups in SB history, the Raiders-Redskins played in the regular season that year (1983) in the best regular season game I have still ever seen, the game went back and forth like two prized-fighters on their best day, and even though the Raiders lost by 3 points it’s the only loss I can remember from around that era not carrying around loser’s lament for days afterwards. I knew I had seen the two best teams, I think the Raiders played without Marcus Allen. Plunkett threw a 99yd TD to Cliff Branch, the best play action pass I ever saw the way Plunkett hid the ball and sold the hand-off. Then he just turned around and lofted it to a wide open CB21 who was never touched as he glided into the end zone.
That was the most satisfying championships of all 3 Super Bowls. It never gets old! Thank you Al and coach Flores!

Sure hes made a mistake here and there but hes got the team going in the right direction 💯 we need stability. Dont u realize how many coaches we went thru the past 20 yrs ? @Raider Undead i feel that with gruden, well have have an good team but will never win the big one. He has never shown the ability to do so. Historically he has finished below .500 the last half of the seasons. Discounting a weak superbowl win given its circumstances
