enough of the prevent d
should of went for it on 4th and 1

    AJ Evans

They could have just called time out and try to get the saints offside before punting at least

    Bean Talk

@AJ Evans fr thats what I thought too and after that just run with patterson through the middle

BlizzardMikeRyerson🍂🎃

I don’t want to leave this Planet without The Falcons getting a Superbowl Ring Please Wake up Guys😤 I Still Believe in Yall Go Falcons⚫🔴⚫🔴

    Szn

@Thomas tbone Salute Bro Go Falcons

Nick bagnulo

less field goals more touchdowns

    Donald Allen

Koo is a beast, I love to see him kick

Michael Govan

All you had to do was stick to the same defensive plan from the first 3 quarters and we would be celebrating.. they couldn’t stop us.. this team is good this year and I think we will beat the rams next week!

    Chris Hill

@Falcons Ride or Die at the end of games with a 16 point lead. Great defenses get home with 4 and gard the back end. Dean pees coaches great defenses get used to it.

    Falcons Ride or Die

@Chris Hill when something broke u fix it, we didn’t hopefully they will learn from this

    Slugg

He literally said they stuck to the game plan it’s just the Saints found a way to win the game.

    Quentin Bell

It’s hard to get young players to play a disciplined zone scheme they looked lost in it.

Mister Ph

A number of improvements in the trenches. We all saw the game and know what could’ve been done differently, but let’s not get away from the leaps of progress our team has made. THE MAJOR KEY IS STARTING FAST AND FINISHING STRONG. That prevent defense was wild lmao. Entirely too much trust after getting burned on b2b possessions. 16 more games to go. Finish your food Atlanta.

    Falcons Vick

When I saw the prevent defense I was like wowwwwww Lmaoo , then Winston started making throws they still in prevent like wtf

    Michael Govan

Sadly.. if we do this every game, we will always be known for blowing leads… we make mediocre QB’s look like studs/ Peyton Manningish in the 4th😮‍💨.

    Mister Ph

@Michael Govan lol we’re already known for that brother. We’ve made A PLETHORA of QBs that walked off the streets look elite 🥴🫠. I’m with you though, we have to get out our on way.

    DeeDee87

    @Falcons Vick that’s clearly proof that’s it’s rigged

Mikal Biasucci

Our problem is finishing and sticking to game plans y’all will be ok learn from it

$ilent Azzazzin

If we lost bc they fought back & earned it, cool. It felt like they got the lead & started to coast & wait for time to end. Stay active whole 4 quarters & if ya lose, it just wasnt your day, felt like they give it away.

Sweetness Dabutta

Thats my Damn Coach!!!!

Yall can say what you want…Im excited about this Falcons Team even with the loss.
They did everything the talking heads said they wouldnt do and couldnt do.
1. They ran the ball at will.
2. They dominated the trenches both sides of the ball.
3. Not only did they get pressure they got sacks…something noone believed they could do.
4. They had the Saints shook.
Bad stuff
1.The Falcons celebrated a lil too early.
2. Had a lot of costly penelties
3. Had very costly turn-overs
4. Went away from what got them the Lead.

Listen folks you heard it here first and you will continue to hear it from me…This Team is going to win a lot of games this yr. And they most definitely not the worse roster in the NFL. You can kill all that talk.

Aurther and Pease just need to tweek a few thing here and there make a few minor calibrations and boom these boys taking off off!

You already see it…it’s there. A few corrections here and there and we on lil guy.

    Ronin Hx

    💯💯💯💯

    Sweetness Dabutta

@syminite1 you need to stop living in the past man…Be present for once in your life. Nobody cares about last yr whennit comes to sports….Looking at the past in sports does absolutely nothing for you. This team is a different team man with different players an Coaches.

Whatever happen Under Quinn or Mike Smith, Or Dan Reeves, or whoever has nothing to do with this current Team.

This Falcons team has their own issues to fix and will.

Either get on board or go to sleep man

    Samuel Davis

    @$wagATL_Z4 Now that’s laughable. 😂😂😂

    Tiny Falcon118

    This team sucks and will
Continue to blow leads look like SB champs first 3 quarters then turn into a junior pee wee team

PrettyGlam

Not happy about the end but I rather it go down now, fix it and dominate the rest of the seasons on prayerfully on into the playoffs. We fix our issues and I don’t see a team we can’t compete and beat. This is a really good team and any person that knows the game sees it

    Zues770

Hopefully EVERYONE especially Smith learned from this. Better to learn a lesson in game 1 than a critical game where something is on the line.

40PackNugs

The only way we can go is up is how I see it. 4 sacks in 1 game is a huge step. Koo played lights out and shouldn’t have had to be put in the :02 situation. The O line stepped up in the run and passing. Aside from the situational play calling, which will vary every game, Pitts should get no less than 10 targets a game and the conservative 4th quarter secondary made us look scared. I still love the direction we’re going with.

Jorge Pavon

You were scared to run it on 4th and 1 be more aggressive

Calvin Douglas

I went back and watched Lindstrom dude is a beast !!!

xctrack

Not happy with the initial interview after the game but coach came back and owned it today. Humble and just a much better look overall. That’s a coach who I can be proud of. Some low points but I believe that this team can succeed and Smith is a smart guy so I really hope he gets there. Night and day interviews

    Corn Filled Screamer

He’s got to learn to keep the hammer down. Winston can’t handle pressure. Falcons proved that through the first 3 quarters.

    Ali

Nope! Dude needs to be more a people person. Getting angry all the time just for the sake of being angry isn’t a good look .

    Corn Filled Screamer

@Ali I don’t care if he’s the biggest a-hole in the world as long as he gets results.

    Delilah HD

@Ali I couldn’t care less with how nice he is to the media… just win, baby! He only stated the truth in his last interview. Every media outlet wrote the Falcons off or as the last team in the league. I didn’t see the “last team” on Sunday. Unfortnate loss but a lot of high points, and our team got a lot of low points to learn from.

gatroy13

Prevent defense is not being aggressive. Either Smith is afraid to admit they screwed up or they did it on purpose. You don’t keep a team down for 3 quarters to play loose and allow them to come back. Starting your second-string defense linemen in the second half is not being aggressive. Ignoring your number one pick tightened for the majority of the game is not being aggressive. The Saints were handing you the game and to refused. The real truth will come out in the next games. If you play the same 4th quarter plan against Seattle with a big lead how will you make excuses for that?

    FM

I have been blaming things on the prevent defence also. But, I am wondering if the fault was not being prepared for the no huddle drill of the Saints.

Paul Mcdowell

I had a moment to calm down about this game lol y’all have set the bar and expectations high though. Now we all know what your capable of!

    Zues770

No reason we can’t be in the playoff picture if we play like that every game

saintXVI

Arthur and Pees coached a great game. Still have mistakes to clean up, we have to learn to go for those 4th and 1s in situations like that in the 4th other than that I love how our team looked and played. I promise y’all Arthur and Pees will learn from this

Cinaed Mac Seamas

Going into the season the O-line was communicated as the big question. In yesterday’s game the Offensive line was very, very good. The run blocking was awesome; the pass protection excellent. Did Mariota ever get sacked? Once? I don’t think so. And our lowly ranked defensive line put 4 sacks on the allegedly superior Saints O-line.

And that’s the 2d factor: the Saints were supposed to dominate in this game and they did not. They “eeked out” a win. The Falcons were very competitive and dominated for three quarters till things changed in the 4th. I’m not sure what they changed, but A.J. Terrell was smoked by Michael Thomas of the Saints. Jarvis also had critical catches in the 4th qtr. Our lead wasn’t enough, and the Saints were able to make up the difference.

In retrospect, the Falcons were predicted to lose this game, and sure, that happened, but it didn’t happen as predicted. The Saints are widely touted as a vastly superior team in which the only x-factor was their rookie head coach, Dennis Allen, known for defensive expertise, and he had failed when with the Raiders. The Falcons dominated the game, but the Saints found a way, Winston to Thomas; Winston to Jarvis, that quickly put the Saints in a position to make up the difference.

    Sweaty Guy

they capable of jus letting u down in jus one quarter. terrible . they did no blitzing

Daily Gifts

There is no team that wins consistently unless they drag the opponent all 4 quarters. All 4 quarters! 10 yards off my football. Jam, Jam, Jam… to win the rush needs help. Arthur, fix this now before it become habit… a bad one. Go Falcons.

Donald Allen

We don’t have a lot of things but one thing we do have is the best kicker in football, Koo is hands down the best there is.

Tmat23

Lack of execution on 3rd and short, and red zone, and people forget how good MT is !! AJ had good coverage on both 2td passes. Gotta give credit to the aints the made adjustments on the OL
