I 100% agree – too much ‘nice guys’ in our players AND coaches. Too many people being like ‘its okay we will do better next time’ nonsense

@Fakemerald …… awwwww man, you have said it. I think that’s what is really erking me about this team. We had some guys that ….. pffft you know. I mean we could be 1-4 , but we knew ed , ray or Suggs was gone rally this team and hold everything accountable even coaches. It’s like we went from university of Miami in its hay day, to a northwestern university team. Lol.

@DorkJelly Ok, well then, I can go through the entire roster and start picking players like boogers and lay blame.

But let’s start with the face of the team; Lamar had some booger moments, let’s sit him and start Huntley.

I’ve watched Moses on film and I agree he has some inauspicious moments, not just in the Buffalo game but even going back to the New England game, he’s not bending well, to me.

Yet with that said, he’s also had some good moments and yeah, Faalele is probably the long term answer at right tackle because of his youth and potential but that time is probably not now.

And finally, getting back to my original post, his words of honesty and encouragement were signs of a humble leader and I’ll take THAT over what Marcus Peters did all day every day.

And no we are not blaming Lamar for having a top 3 scoring offense when they have given him no help and refuse to invest in him and the offense.

They want to spend all the cap on the defense, use our highest draft picks on the defense…and yet John doesn’t even trust his heavy cap weighted defense to close out a game. This is a massive display of dysfunctional coaching and a bad front office.

And back to Moses, its just not good enough. Let Faalele get the reps and start building chemistry there is no real drop off between them, so you might as well start his development now…This team needs youth. Depending on players you got in the bargain aisle because you want to be cheap only screws us over. Didn’t learn the lesson with Alejandro and now we putting our QB at risk AGAIN with a vet that has no bend and cant keep the younger and speedy guys in front of him. Move on before Lamar gets injured.

@DorkJelly No one is debating that the Ravens shouldn’t be mad, as a fan I’m mad, but I didn’t throw a tantrum and get in my wife’s or kids’ faces after watching them lose, I didn’t throw anything. Being mad is not an “idea” it’s an emotion that is normal yet needs to be controlled and channeled properly and when it is not, it certainly isn’t “the right idea.”

Vowing to get better is not an excuse it’s a mantra, a mindset and I’ve said plenty of times that the Ravens have to execute on both sides of the ball…whereas all I hear folks throwing shade at is the defense, yet the defense came out on fire against Buffalo, created turnovers and provided Lamar Jackson and his “top 3 scoring offense” as you say it is, with an opportunity to put 20 points in the first half and a one time 17 point lead. Where was that “top 3 scoring offense” in the second half? There is an APB out on that offense as I type.

Now, in one breath you chastise people as excuse makers then you go and lather up your won by claiming the Ravens have given Lamar Jackson “no help” and “refuse to invest in him and the offense.”

Since 2018, the same year the team drafted Lamar Jackson, the Ravens have drafted 8 wide receivers, including Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman in the first round, they have drafted 4 tight ends, JK Dobbins, and several offensive linemen including current starting center Tyler Linderbaum in 2022.

It’s laughable that you say Harbaugh doesn’t trust his “cap-weighted” defense to close out a game when he was actually trusting his defense by displaying trust and faith in his mega payday-seeking quarterback by going for it on 4th and goal from the two.

First, he had faith Lamar would EXECUTE the play correctly and score a touchdown and at the very worst, would NOT throw a damn interception which would have had Buffalo backed up at their own 2 instead of bringing it out to the 20. So Harbs, going by that thought had two-fold confidence in his team and was going for a 7-point lead as opposed to a 3-point lead with about 4 minutes left. I have no problem with the decision, didn’t then and don’t now.
