I dont understand why we dont let him start as a DE. We got the Smith on the OLB and Gary played his college career primary on DE
3-4 DE and 4-3 DE like he was in college are different positions. 4-3 DE is an edge rusher, and that’s what he plays in GB too.
Ich bin zwar dumm, aber yeah we messed him up he should play what position he’s comfortable with
Michigan had a 4-3 defense. That’s why he was a DE. Green Bay uses a 3-4 so he can rush off the edge as an OLB

I’ve been tellin lots of people Gary was ballin. Against the Vikes at 1:29 he stopped Big Z from gettin a sack with monstrous strength. He’s going to be a great pass rusher
This dude is a freak. I’ve watched a lot of football and this guy physically can be a wrecker. His burst off the line is rare. If he can get his technique down he is going to be a handful
On the last play, Reiff tripped over Zs feet. The athleticism of Gary is there, no doubt. He just has to finesse his moves and become more effective with them. We will need to wait.
If the Packers’ LBs can’t be effective at short to medium coverage, along with keeping things in front of them while trying to read the QB, then what?
That’s what cover LBs do.

Nice video, but pointless since most ‘fans’ are already certain he is a bust because as a #12 overall pick he should’ve had 25 sacks, 15 forced fumbles and recoveries, 10 INTs, and scored 10 TDs last year. And yes, he didn’t get a whole lot of playing time because he’s a bust and Gute won’t admit it…lol.
