Zach on sidelines for 1st few games could be a blessing in disguise because it allows him to fully heal, absorb playbook and watch how a veteran QB runs our Offense. Rookies Mahomes and Jackson had luxury of sitting on bench b4 getting thrown in the fire.
I agree, it also allows the Oline to gel. I feel better knowing they will have a few games playing together, before Zack is under center
I don’t get why jets fan act delusional on the regular. The more time he sits out this year the better. He’s still very young , let him learn . I’d let him miss six weeks and make a full recovery
@ Saving Souls Ministries I think that mindset that you’re talking about applies to all fan bases across the league, not just Jet fans. A lot of fans and media nowadays expect young rookie qbs to automatically become superstars when they first step onto the field. It seems like the days of rookie qbs sitting out a season and learning from the veterans is long gone now…

People need to get off his back and let him acclimate to the NFL. He’s gonna be a really good QB, he just needs what all new NFL players need, reps and games. He’ll be fine, and he’ll have 13 games to do his thing this year so it’s not a problem. GO JETS.

I agree with most of the posts here. Let the kid sit and heal. He needs to watch and learn. Throwing rookie QBs into service and expecting to find Marino is rare.
Next year we won’t play a single starter in pre season. We lose integral people every year. Gotta love looking forward to a jets season
Coming out of college one of the intangibles for Wilson was he had wheels. This is not Aaron Rodgers he’s going to have to use his legs to get some 1st downs. Jackson, Mahomes, Murray are not looking to get out of bounds they’re looking to move the ball. Don’t change your game Zack.
