Joe Flacco is a quality quarterback who is stuck with a very bad line with this team. Today our line was basically made up of replacement players, they couldn’t open holes for our running game, we rushed for like 35 yards, Flacco had absolutely no time to set up and deliver his passes at all, he did a very admirable job under the circumstances. He is without a doubt the best QB on the Jets roster but he does need decent protection to achieve the wins we want, and this line couldn’t deliver that all season long no matter who the quarterback was, they got 5 of Mike White’s ribs broken for him, they had Zach Wilson running for his life, Joe Flacco is a great quarterback but he’s not the only player on offense and he does need his line to protect him longer than 1/2 a second. Thanks Joe for hanging with this team, we had greater expectations obviously, injuries really hurt our line this year and there’s no predicting that before the season starts.
