As a lions fan i dont know how you can look at this game and be mad, yes we lost but we have been playing better and played better today than all season. Yes there have been some bad calls but were not a perfect team and we will improve. this team is heading in the right direction #onepride
We just dont have enough talent to compete right now, Goff to Chark..missed, Allen to Diggs…completion , the play of the game

@Andrea Campanelli that’s the difference, Goff can’t make the big deep plays when he needs to. Not the first time .
@Andrew E we also dont have a deep threat receiver, hopefully Jamo can be that …but Goff doesn’t have the arm for these deep shots.
@Andrea Campanelli No deep threats except Chark. When healthy, he was a deep threat with the Jags. We haven’t gotten enough looks at him with him being hurt to know if that’s still the case, but he has height and speed.
I’m not mad just disappointed. This one was heartbreaking.
It sucks in the moment but it proves a bunch of things. This team is a couple pieces away from being something special.
I see this game as a measuring stick. The Lions hung in there with one of the best teams in the NFL. Yeah the loss does suck, but I am very proud the way the Lions played today.

Love the call that would have sealed it. Chark had a step or 2 on him just a bad throw is all. Not going for the 4th and 1 was the killer for me.

I am so proud of how my Detroit Lions played today. Naysayers were saying Detroit Lions would get blown out today. Nope. Detroit Lions showed that they are among one of the better NFL teams this NFL season. They continue to show noticeable improvement and progress.

It was a great Thanksgiving Game football today. It would’ve been nice with the way, but I am so thrilled by how our Detroit Lions played in every quarter.
Dan Campbell’s Detroit Lions are going to be future Super Bowl Champions. I have no doubt in my mind about that.

I am 70 years old and needless to say as a Lions fan I’ve been disappointed many times but not today. Maybe for the first time I truly believe in the GM and the Head Coach. The team is fighting hard the whole game and we are building the team the right way. The Lions are drafting very well now which was never the case before and we have coaches who are teaching the players and you see the improvement week to week. Keep up the good work and are time will come.

I’m with everyone else on this one. I’m not angry, I didn’t go into this game expecting a W but it was one of those heartbreaking games where it just hurts. I love this team, I really truly do. I love seeing the rookies do what they’ve done all year, I love seeing them compete against some of the best. There’s a lot to love but god damn it was so close to a W. Get rest, get healthy and let’s embarrass the jags next Sunday.
