Gave rodgers the contract. Four wide recievers hurt and doesnt give him help. I dont understand. Obviously he is infinitely smarter than myself but this is a head scratcher. If your plan is to tank than just say that. And why not trade rodgers on an mvp season if you arent gonna help him

Everything falls on Gute. Ignores the WR position. Doesn’t shore up O line. Constantly drafts defense yet constantly has a bottom feeder run defense. Hard to coach when the talent isn’t there.

@howdyusa Many coaches are doing more of the “Go For It On 4th Down Early In The Game” thing. He isnt alone. A WR got concussed, so what. Dumb luck for the WR. Dumb things happen after plays. @howdyusa Don’t disagree. But effort is worthless without talent just as talent is worthless without effort. We have a few decent pieces. The ones that Gute has neglected are glaring key pieces and are keeping some of the other pieces from doing their jobs effectively. Domino effect. Thompson and Gute have been so spoiled by elite QBs that they often forget team sports actually take an entire team since they are used to being bailed out constantly. This year Rodgers isn’t able to bail the team out so everyone is turning on him but the handling of the o line and the WR position has been truly criminal.

Did you watch the game? Jones was the plan he ran for alot of yards didnt help. We needed more pass plays mixed in. We need the lead before this game plan works

@x-_Bandit_-x _I’m not talking specifically about yesterday, I’m talking about last 3 games before buffalo. If anything yesterday proved running the ball with Jones is the answer. Aaron Jones was the reason packers could moving the ball down field vs buffalo. That’s something they didnt do last 3 games. The packers are a run first team now whether they like it or not. If they try and force the pass Rodgers gets pressured right away and forced incomplete passes or they are dropped.

if u rewatch it the snap was low and then it messed up the whole timing of it so to be honest it’s not on him

That’s not how football works and that’s exactly what we did today, that’s why we had over 150 rushing yards….the problem then is defense’s just set 8-9 in the box every play and we get killed
