Thanks guys! It’s been a really exciting season so far. We gotta keep this pace!

Don’t agree with this – signing Daniel Jones is a no brainer.
#8 Danny Dimes is just like #8 Steve Young – they laughed at Geno too.
“they wrote me off, I ain’t write back though”

    RonWan

@Mark Roberts Steve Young was run out of town his first two years? Where are you getting this from? Steve won a SB with San Fran & was the only team he played for.

    Mark Roberts

@RonWan Steve played for Tampa Bay and was the #1 overall draft pick.
He finished 3-16 with Tampa with 36 fumbles and interceptoins in 19 games. He didn’t really play much for years and was a backup..until he became starter at 30 years old on San Francisco.

    Jeffrey Abbey

    @RonWan 😆

    RonWan

@Mark Roberts I thought you meant while he played in SF & yes, that’s true, he did play for TB his first two years but you still can’t compare him to DJ. That’s just insane

Dan Infantino

I have to laugh, if you’ve actually watched Barkley he has routinely made something of nothing. What RB doesn’t need good run blocking? We don’t even have to go far back to find examples, he had a guy on him in the backfield against the Ravens and stuck the spin move to bump back outside to ice the game at the goal line. He’s running far more north and south this year and his consistency has improved.

    Mark Roberts

I watched Nick Chubb a few times and you can drive a truck through a lot of holes he runs through.
Maybe I don’t watch him enough but I didn’t see him makes something out of nothing a lot.

    Adam Remson

Agreed. These guys are way off. SB has changed his style this year and it’s changed his stats. I would think PFF would notice this. Also, this is a league of parity and coaching is the last X factor. These guys keep scratching their heads and wondering “how is this happening???” It’s the situational coaching! It’s coaching to the talents of the players you have on your roster! Daboll and team are doing the equivalent of Money Ball

robert stohr

Maybe Daniel Jones is a good QB.

    AJ Kareem

    He is Elite

    Jeffrey Abbey

He isn’t special so he sucks

You want good QB or a great QB ?

    Jeffrey Abbey

@AJ Kareem elite?? 😆 you got some odd standards for what elite is 😆 damn

    Billy Walsh

Did Dan Marino ever win a super bowl? No. It’s not always about stats … It’s about WINNING !!!

Subo23

Palazzolo is always a good listen

RonWan

We need more from the QB position. The way Daniel Jones is playing now is not sustainable for long term success. He’s nothing more than a game manager. Brian Daboll is used to playing with elite QBs & Jones is not it.

    RonWan

@shain whitt That’s not true at all. This era of football is centered around great QB play. Last year, Lamar Jackson had 3 injured RBs, no no#1 wr & a bad oline & yet went into the playoffs as the no#1 seed. Joe Burrough had an oline worse than the Giants & he took his team to the SB & nearly won it. So all these excuses made for DJ have been debunked by the play of other players at his position who excelled despite the bad circumstances they had.

    shain whitt

@RonWan jamar chase tee Higgins Joe Mixon, for Burrow
Mark Andrews Marquise Brown for Jackson
They may have had bad O-LINES but they had reliable people to throw to.
The giants Oline was Andrew Thomas and whoever we can find because of injuries. And was ranked # 30 out 32 btw and who was he throwing to ? Practice squad players like he’s doing again this year again because of injuries. And yeah they are excuses. Still doesn’t change the fact. You gotta look at context.

    RonWan

@shain whitt Last year Lamar had no no#1 wr, no real RB to rely on midway through the season, a suspect oline & still went into the playoffs as the no#1 seed. Burrough was the most sacked QB in the league with the worst oline in the NFL & with only ONE legit wr & still won. Let’s stop making excuses please. DJ is just a mobile version of Trent Dilfer. He’s not elite.

    RonWan

@shain whitt Plus there’s no way the Giants bring back DJ when they will only have 52 million of cap space next season. $10 million will automatically be set aside for the rookie draft class & then we would have to pay DJ at least 20 million guaranteed & if we franchise him it will be 30 million…. that’s half of our cap space right there. No way the Giants are this dumb for a QB who who isn’t elite & can barely stay healthy for a full season.

    shain whitt

@RonWan The more we discuss the more I realize that you got hate in your heart for DJ.. Get that hate out your heart! 😅😅
We’ll just agree to disagree cause this convo is all over the place rn.
Just enjoy this 5-1 start with DJ as the quarterback 🙌🏾 👌🏾

Qwerty Asdfg

I love the guys at PFF

Terry Stanton

25 points? 27 vs GB
24 vs ravens with a knee down

Christopher J

My Dad used to say “luck” is when Hard Work and opportunity meet.
Good Coaching with minimal talent.
DJ is the best option for this moment in time for the Gmen, in more ways than a few. IMO
Good things happening.
DF is getting real good.

James Kirchner

O LINE IS BETTER AND BARKLEY IS DOING THE TOUGH YARDS NOW.HE IS PROVING THE NA SAYERS WRONG

Jeffrey Abbey

Go get a QB1 talent @Giants

Patrick Grove

Winning games like we are winning is a staple to winning Playoff games, these are the games we lost in past seasons.

    TL2354

    They, not we

    Billy Walsh

A “true” fan does say “we” about their team !!!

Scruff D0g

Completely agree about the QB Position, giants can’t keep playing this in the future with a QB who does just enough. Jones needs a legit Number 1 WR, it’s a very tricky situation

Chico 169

PFF is the biggest racket in sports. 💩🚽

Joseph Clark

The OC and HC deserve tons of credit for doing more with less given the quality of the WRs and OL. Jones deserves the same credit. And he should name the other QBs ranked 18 – 30 that the Giants could go with for less $$. And why would they cost less than Daniel if they’re all pretty much the same? Doesn’t make sense. I think people inherently know that Jones does more with less than most other QBs could do but just haven’t accepted it.
