    POTATOECHIP

@Brandon Dorcas yeah right. You’ll be lucky to go 7-10 😂

    Brandon Dorcas

@POTATOECHIP Teams never stay good forever. The NFL isn’t built that way, its designed for all teams to eventually rise and fall. Just look at the history of the game

    Brandon Dorcas

@POTATOECHIP you’re making it obvious how much you don’t know about this game

    orurour

.Next year play P.ford & A.woods on 1st & 4th downs get Danny Shelton & Quinton Jefferson & Justin Hamilton & play B.mone with them on 2nd & 3rd downs, reason D-Line needs fresh legs for pressure?

LionsTigersBearsOhMy Animals

It been fun Pete. It’s time to go on to retirement facility

Pete is hiding his emotions really well during this presser. Pete we love you. I’m hoping Pete stays 🙏

Griffin Overa

Despite what many people believe about the future of this franchise let’s please not forgot how much this man brought to us Seahawk fans as well as the city of Seattle! Regardless of what happens, I am forever grateful for the Pete Carroll era and our identity over the last decade! ALWAYS COMPETE

    MegaTriumph1

Totally agree Pete and John have done some really good work for Seahawks. Its been a tough year on the Seahawks with injuries to the CB’s Chris Carson injury that is a cornerstone for the offense. Bright side Penny is playing good Ball and Ryan Neal is no surprise he has always been a solid player and living up to his billing and some, same with Penny.

    Griffin Overa

@MegaTriumph1 I completely agree!! It’s been a tough season but there’s been plenty of bright spots and I still believe in John and Pete to put together a solid roster for next season. Lots of unfortunate penalties and plays here and there that kept them from finishing games the way we’re used to seeing. Hopeful for the future!

Dana Gregory

Don’t know how many of you have noticed not only the way Rashard Penny is running but, with that hard running, ya all gotta notice the ” Stiff Arms” the man has been giving to defender’s trying to tackle him!
He’s got a couple of touchdowns by pushing defender’s off him like flies and, other runs of getting extra hard yards with those powerful stiff- arms.. Awesome!!!!
Go Hawks and, Go Penny!!
Great job. Just please…
Stay Healthy!!👍🏈

    GxMon MXSn

    Penny ha corrido:
    Texas: 135 yardas
    Rams: 34 yardas
    Chicago: 135 yardas
    Lions: 167 yardas
No le ha corrido a ningún equipo poderoso. es basura.

George Perillo

I think one of the reason why the Seahawks played so terribly this year was the fact that they lost Chris Carson. He was a positive influence on the team both mentally and physically and there was no running back in the stable that could pick up the slack when he got hurt. I think it damaged the team psychology. I’ve been harsh on Pete in the past but I’m going to cut him a break here. Russell thought he was Super Man and came back too early and that hurt this team as well. My two cents.

Andrew Nguyen

Pete your time is coming up soon in Seattle!

emmit brown

You gave up almost 30 points to another backup, to the 2nd worst team in the league. And no!!!! The defense wasn’t gassed today.
Go away old man!

Chris S

“OMG…We didn’t make it to the playoffs”. Be thankful we have had Russ and Pete..You ingrates.

Bronze Sausage

Like a lot of QBs in this league, This offense needs a run game. A lot of the offenses issues came from not having a starting back majority of the season. Then Russ got hurt that solidified a bad season. Lots to work on. Staying healthy is first though.

Bronze Sausage

Get Ken Norton outta here, he’s a good dude, but 4 years straight of being a half year defense isn’t gonna work in the long run. Get a younger DC in there. Kam Chancellor is a good pick. 💚💙

    Zach Mays

As cool as it would be to have a legend like Kam on the staff, I doubt he’d be ready to be a DC. I’d love to see him as an assistant with the upside to grow into a DC role, though.

    Brandon Dorcas

Our defense wasn’t even bad. We took more snaps than any team in the NFL, guys are going to get tired. Yet we still are one of the best teams in points per play, ranked second before that lions game. Our offense going three and out constantly and always getting destroyed in time of posession puts a ton of pressure on our defense. Our defense is what gave us chances to win this year aside from only a few games where our offense thrived, twice against two of the worst teams in the NFL. If our offense did what it did last year, we would have won most of our games, if you go look at the scores from last year vs this year.

Philosopha206

Hope Pete stays for at least 1 more season

robert fasolo

Pete is a great leader he was not the issue.
Russell was hurt and played terrible.
Carson was hurt.
Our defense couldn’t get off the field.
But Pete brings consistency in a league that is constantly changing.
We won our division last year and can do it again next year.

    Brandon Dorcas

Our defense couldn’t get off the field partially because our offense kept having to send them out there. We had a span of 3 weeks where nearly 1/3 of our drives were three and outs. Time of posession makes defenses tired, they will eventually slip. Yet we still, before the lions game, were ranked #2 in points per drive on defense. Ill take that all day. But I still agree with your comment, I think its partially on the new OC, but yes the injuries just sent them over the edge for sure.

I’m with Art. Injuries are mostly random. Pete may be right when it’s a non collision situation, but a player cannot see everything coming at them or choose how they’ll land.

Erica Bootz Gibson

Go Hawks💙💚😏🤞🏿
