Any given Sunday any team no matter how horrible a season they are doing can win a game. Happens all the time. Where a crappy team, total under dogs beat a great team. So nvr take a game for granted. Those of us real football fans know this to be true. Period .
@Vincent St-Amour The patriots had practice squad receivers out there & the only one that was producing in the passing game was jakobi meyers, who’s undrafted, but still almost won against the 5-2 bills. If bellicheck doesn’t trade for a deep threat, you know the pats are rebuilding.

Why cant bellicheck just trade for a deep threat receiver so we can really see what Cam can do. Like that’s all they need. Opposing defenses will definitely struggle. I’m kinda disappointed bellicheck’s giving up that easy, I’m pretty sure he knows with a receiver that can go deep they can take pressure off everybody else & the offense would click.

They might as well be eliminated. Their schedule doesn’t get any better. They play the Ravens, Rams, Chargers, Cardinals, and Bills (again). The only games they really seem favored to win include the two Jets games and maybe Houston, but Houston only has a bad record because of their tough schedule.

Probably truer a few years back when they had a really strong squad. Now the squad is really poor. And Newton is the anti-Brady. Brady was static, but quick release and super accurate. Newton is wildly inaccurate, scattershot and used to be mobile but no lumbers every time he runs. He’s toast.

Yeah, so much for “The System” theory. Now NE is the “Salary Cap” team. They look exactly like the Pats before Brady. Weak. Cam isn’t Brady.
Brady went 4-4 last season after they were 8-0 (primarily on the back of our defense). If Brady were here maybe we’d have a couple more wins, but it would still look pretty bad on offense.
I’m willing to give this season a pass due to circumstance. I’m eager to see what happens once the world returns to normal.
Newton is the polar opposite of Brady – scattershot and inaccurate and no longer has the legs that made him a threat.
