Could have gotten a solid WR, DE/DT, or ILB in the 3rd and 5th round. They passed on DE James Lynch, LB Troy Dye, LB Davis-Gaither, DT Khalil Davis, DT Leki Fotu, WR Joe Reed, WR Tyler Johnson, WR Donovan Peoples-Jones. 🤦♂️

No lies told by Favre🤷🏽♂️ this draft was clearly not aimed at “winning now” or aimed at pushing the Packers over the top to win a super bowl next year. Once again we are willing to waste draft capital on developmental players with “upside” and once again we ignore clear positions of need. Anybody who watched the packers 13-3 season knows that our weakness was run defense and a lack of weapons in passing game. We addressed NEITHER. Depending on funchess, kirksy, and our other unproven WR core is not wise. 🧀
I think the reason why we got beat down by the 9ers twice last year has more to do with coaching than anything else. We lost those games as a team, if we play better as a team we could definitely beat those dudes. I don’t think one receiver or LB would have made a difference(maybe if we had Deebo Samual instead of them). And for the record I do believe in Kirksey, Funchess, and our unproven WR corps, especially MVS and Jake Kumerow, I think they’re both going to bust out in a big way this season. My final point is I think Guteys done a great job since he’s got here and all you armchair GM’s out there need to chill the F out!
@CharlieDramatic187 you clearly dont watch football 🤦♂️ 🤣😂 the coaching yes they need to work on their plays and schemes but they don’t move or play on the field, it’s the player job to put 100% effort into their position since they get paid to play. LB Martinez is average, DE Lowry, DT Lancaster, DE A. Adams are all just average players. They need a solid DT that can help Clark Run-stop on frontline then you need a solid MLB that can read the plays and cover pass coverages not just make tackles after the 5+ yards after the line of scrimmage.
