    It was mostly scheme, missed tackles happen when you have a light camp, that can be coached.

    @ZADo you watch football? I never said Jalen couldn’t throw. He just needs to work on his accuracy. How long do you think just running RPO every play is gonna work before Jalen gets hurt?. That college offense is not sustainable in the NFL.

I hope Gannon did that week 1 so that way he thinks that other teams won’t be prepared for him using Davis and Reddick and packaging more blitzes when they play Vikings. ..maybe he just didn’t want to use allot of his schemes week 1? So i hope things change for the defense and we play lights out vs Minnesota

The Eagles need to nip this in the bud after last year’s dismal record.

It’s a steep drop in the NFL defense rankings for the Philadelphia Eagles heading into Week 2. D’Andre Swift (144 yards, 1 TD) and Jamaal Williams (2 TDs) ran for whatever they wanted, with Swift averaging 9.6 ypr. Frankly, the Detroit Lions offense might have scored even more than 35 points if Jared Goff was even a marginal quarterback. There is talent for days at every level of this defense but it didn’t translate to a quality performance in Week 1. Philly gets a few days to figure things out before a daunting matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

Siriani should be more hands-on with the defense from now on before Gannon gets him fired. There’s too much talent on defense for them to play like that. They didn’t adjust and were unable to stop anything the Lions did. The defense was man-handled at the line of scrimmage.

Johnathan Gannon isn’t a defensive coordinator it’s simple, his scheme is basic prevent defense that any experience quarterback will and does ie last season with 80% completions ratings but multiple quarterbacks are going pick apart , it’s no coincidence that we’re not getting any pressure with the same guys we’ve had success with and new additions who are proven pass rushers not can’t generate any, when have JG scheme ever impressed you like man that was a good game plan, or creative blitz scheme, he had no experience as a defensive coordinator and it shows
