Keenum deserved another season at least for his contribution… cut him for no reason
@King Kong wrong. You’re full of bad takes. After a player gets an injury without being touched, that’s more often the case a death sentence for their career. His career after injury he only was a starter for two seasons on two different teams, and he played pretty bad.
@King Kong Spielman was already looking at potential free agent QBs the day after the NFC Championship. He had no intention of keeping any of the QBs on the roster, why Bridgewater had to move on was that his rookie contract expired while he was still on the injured list. Under league rules the Vikings had to let Bridgewater become a free agent (restricted) or face penalties for not doing so. But i think Spielman had already decided who the next Viking QB would be.

@Dean Ladue that’s what I’m saying. Spielman wanted cousins, but Zimmer wanted no part of cousins and probably would’ve preferred Keemun over him.
Plus I’m pretty sure Keenum was a systematically QB for us, only worked in our system which was good for us, but bad for other teams.
