Absolutely agreed with you when I saw this while watching the super bowl I hunted this video down

    Yolanda Dailey

    Greatness

    Mike Hunt

nah The SB 53 commercial is the best SB commercial of all time

ChitownStever1

Paying tribute to the GOAT Walter “Sweetness” Payton brings a tear to my eye since he never scored one in the 46-10 romp of the Patriots in ’86. You will never be forgotten #34!!!

    Christian Jimenez

definitely not the Goat. That’s barry sanders

    My Mom

@Just Liam :] what do you mean?

    Mr Rod

Walter Payton would have loved that, rest in paradise Walter

    Wifehaver69

Ray Lewis and Troy Polomalu too.

    ChitownStever1

@Christian Jimenez How many TD’s did Barry throw? Block like a lineman? Actually win a Super Bowl? Have more yards? etc… Barry was great but Walter is the GOAT, Sorry!!

fan4life 34

Hey coach Ditka, they finally got SWEETNES into the end zone of a SB! AND his patented “over the top” dive.PURE CLASS add on for footballs greatest to ever wear the uniform. RIP WALTER! 🐐

    Je Varga

That’s why I feel like payton would be unstoppable in the red zone if he played in today’s game. Nobody goes over the top anymore

    Doug Weber

Completely agree with you 💯. Greatest of all time.!

    Ron Logan

    Walter Payton, the real GOAT!!!

Tina Perrine

My favorite SB commercial this year!! I’ve watched it over and over! 😂🤣😂🤣

Michael Wojciak

Whoever wrote this knew a wrong needed to be made right. Sweetness over the top!

apimpnamedsirslickback

I love this commercial and I love the homage to Reggie White (Baby wearing #92) RIP Sweetness and the Minister of Defense🙏🙏

    Adam Adams

Loved they made Reggie undeniable huge Go Reggie

    apimpnamedsirslickback

    @Adam Adams yessir

    Denny Mac

Notice that Reggie was so huge. Phenomenal play.

fan4life 34

Pure class to put footballs GREATEST “WALTER SWEETNESS PAYTON” into the endzone for the winning TD since Coach Ditka forgot to back in the 1985 SB. And his EPIC over the top dive too boot! RIP 🐐 #34

    Doug Weber

Agreed, one the biggest tragedies in sports history. Not letting the greatest all around football player of all time get in the end zone in the Super Bowl. Ditka was getting a big head.

    I am the 1

He wasn’t able to score in that super bowl because the patriots defense had to worry about the biggest threat on the field they knew the 85 bears defense would tear them to shreds which did happen so they had to worry about offense and well the biggest threat on the bears offense was Walter Payton so they stopped him all game so he wasn’t able to get in the end zone

    TJ of Wakanda

    Absolutely

    fan4life 34

@I am the 1  correct, I watched that SB growing up in Chicago , I Just wish Coach Ditka gave Walter the ball at the 1 instead of McMahon and Fridge (both scoring) needed that Walter over the top in those situations.

    Doug Weber

Yes I agree he was the biggest threat, but Ditka should have put Fridge into BLOCK for Walter not run it in. Walter carried that team for years and deserved to score!

Sheila Brown

Tribute to Walter Payton…Tears, man!!! Best commercial EVER!!!

    howard baxter

    Sweetness finally got his touchdown.

    I’m Retro

    NFL 100 commercial was better

    Mr Rod

    Walter would have loved this

Orionztail

“We are so grounded” in the best possible way. This is the best SB commercial in ages, since the onset of iconic ‘where’s the beef’ and various of the Doritos or soda spots. It’s one of those that make you smile, laugh, immerse and forget the prior “best of all-time.”

Megan G

I got chills when Walter Payton showed up 🐻👇🏼This was my fave SB commercial this year

    Silent hit

@Bryan_2ZZ6MT yea I know that much but some ppl make it seem like he sucked and that’s why he was so great and I don’t understand that much

    John Stubbs

@Silent hit You can’t say anything bad about that 1985 Chicago Bears Defense and Walter “Sweetness” Payton to anyone in or from Chicago. They were some of the best to ever do it.😌

    Jack Widmann

@Silent hit For most of his career he had no offensive line and only missed one game in 13 years even though he would run with authority. While other RB’s can be argued for their running style/success, ‘Sweetness’ never went to run out of bounds, attacked defenders, stiff arms, jumping over piles, and threw TD’s, caught the ball, blocked…he could do it all and did it well. Came from an HBCU college and had the biggest heart. The heart on and off the field. That is why the ‘Man of the Year’ Award is named after him. He is so beloved across the league. I hope this helps.

    Doug Weber

Well said Jack… and to add to that, he could throw well, actually played QB and was a great receiver. I can’t stress how well of a blocker he was!

    Doug Weber

And one more thing, even though not spelled the same, Archie Manning named a son Peyton after Walter. He played for the Bears briefly toward the end of his career. Quite a tribute and a good one as well.

Dayday2K

1:13 the nostalgia between Cardinals and Pittsburgh brings me back to Madden 10 days and that Super bowl in 2009 😁

    Mrnoone338

That’s what I instantly thought of when I saw it live.

    Tony

@Mrnoone338 yeah i know this one Super Bowl when San Tonio Holmes made that catch.

Maria D

What a creative commercial NFL! I loved how you gave Walter Peyton and Reggie White their props post mortem! The best of the best!!!

Jordan

That Walter Payton ending was awesome. I was named after him lol

Lisa Dooley

Love how Andy Ried is just chilling on his floating ring in the pool and how he flies back into the tv while still sitting on it!! Best commercial since the 100 season commercial

C’Mon Man! You Know The Thing

Jefferson doing the Griddy at the end was Classic, I legit LOL’ed. Perfect commercial with an amazing ending. 😂
