@James Blonde it does matter. Just because he is fast doesn’t help much. If he lacks footwork he can’t catch a block and be blitzed. As a tackle they don’t pull as much so he won’t go to the second level to take a LB. Especially as a blindside tackle? He can’t pull and take a LB. His speed says nothing more than he is fast. Where as a LT doesnt matter nearly as much as agility and footwork.

@James Blonde yup! I say get Ceedee lamb first. Great after the run. And he is tall, he can catch, very few dropped balls. Than in the second round get the center Tyler Biadesz. In FA there are alot of good OL that we can get. Imagine Peters, Thuney, Biadesz, Glasgow and Bulaga. All of them finished above 75 in PFF and all great at picking up the blitz.

I disagree with the taking a tackle at 11 simply because you can protect Sam all day and he will still get sacked if he doesn’t have anyone who can get open to catch his passes. The Jets make this mistake all the time they go with the safe play by taking the lineman and they pass on a big playmaker and year after year they suffer from the lack of scoring.
Don’t be surprised if the 3 tackles gone 3 wideouts gone the jets pick backup quarterback

We need the 2020 versions of d’brickashaw and nick mangold that’ll get this team to the next level. Depending on what we do in free agency (resigning Lewis, beachum, MAYBE Robby) depends what we do in the draft.
