Some incredible catches. But also incredible passes.

Marco Gouldinho

Winston’s ability to throw the perfect pass has never been in question, it’s always been his decision making…tidy that up and you have a hell of a QB.

    illmatic 826

@dbsti 300 Mfs don’t watch the games, they just repeat narratives they see on Twitter

    dbsti 300

    @illmatic 826 You’re not wrong.

    Marco Gouldinho

@dbsti 300 not totally sure about that, in college he had tendency to throw multiple picks…

    Sifelani Justice Magodi

@Marco Gouldinho Which QB hasn’t? I’ll be waiting

Spoon Mankind

People will realize the saints are a great team give them time :edit who dat

JoshuaStar77

People say AJ lost to Micheal Thomas, but AJ was literally on his butt for the whole game, its just impossible to stop MT.

    Francisco De la torre

@Don Locke Every time he catches the ball I yell out “Can’t Guard Who? Can’t Guard Mike”

    Austin

No doubt, AJ is a very solid cb, but I still think if Winston had adequate time in the pocket and wasnt fighting for his life the first 3 quarters I think MT still would’ve made some contested catches.

    Tyrone Wilson

@TSquared52 lmao I’m not sure. I was just listening to the announcers 😂

    Tyrone Wilson

@TSquared52 he was slipping a lot at first then he wasn’t so it makes sense. I feel players changing cleats to better adjust to turf/grass during the game is common

Antenor Marinho

If he plays a whole game like he played that last qtr, we havew a fifty burger on our hands

    Jamir Bingham

    Tell that to the O-line

    KMoliere504

“If he was protected the whole game like he was protected that last qtr, we woulda had a fifty burger on our hands” … there, I fixed it for you

    The Holy Gamer

@KMoliere504 Fr man if our offensive line Is good as 2019 or 2020 man the league is in trouble Fr ⚜️⚜️

Austin Pierce

Literally the 3 most important throws of the game

Juan Salgado

His deep ball is so clean an throws it with ease

Tyrone Wilson

Our receivers were the hype this off-season and they showed up. Took them a while to get going but showed up when we needed them!

Fake stats, both of those Thomas’ completions were 100% probability

Jay

Love the way we played in the 4th quarter. Although I never understood these completion probability videos. Like what factors are being considered when they come up with these percentages?

    Pixels After Dark

I have no idea, but I would assume it has to do with the large amount of data the NFL has collected over time. I’m sure there’s an absurd amount of 40 yard passes with two defenders within 1 yard of the receiver (Laundry play). I would even imagine its more specific, such as caught with 2 hands, pass accuracy, distance from out-of-bounds. Using this, you could create a system to give a (somewhat) accurate assumption at what the stat probability would be.

    Ichabod Crane

@Pixels After Dark you probably right, along with maybe the atlent of the DB and the timing and speed of the ball

King Prime

That was a good catch

Mark Giruzzi

That game was crazy to watch… Think our O line needs to be better for next week. I’d say most of our struggles that game came down to Jameis having no time in the pocket to stand and make a throw. It also didn’t allow for Kamara to get going. Once our run game gets established were going to be scary… you cant guard our WRs as it is it’ll just be a guessing game at that point. Run or throw!!!!! #WhoDat

Ichabod Crane

I’m still trying to see where Landry went out on that last one lol

Trumpahoe

Cb were spot on and he still got em

Teflon Ron

To have Landry and Thomas is a dream come true. Adding Olave and Callaway is a bonus. Excited to see what our elite WR team can do this year

dbsti 300

The second that O line found their stride, Winston got the time he needed. Give that guy time, he can carve up opposing defenses. It’s not like Sean Payton chose Jameis to replace his Drew Brees because he thought Winston some schmuck. Let’s get real.

    Marco Gouldinho

Saints were high on Winston coming out of the draft…rumours they tried to get to no.1 to select him…

    dbsti 300

@Marco Gouldinho They tried with Pat Mahommes too, but got Lattimore because KC beat them to it. Aside from that, they didn’t hesitate a second to take Winston out of Tampa did they? Lol.

    Chris Mathers

@dbsti 300 I think the Chiefs traded up to get Patrick Mahomes too because they were scared the Saints would draft him

    dbsti 300

@Chris Mathers Chiefs made a good move because Payton was taking him. I never knew this until Payton was on Cowherd the other day talking about it.

Michelle Jackson

This AWESOME to watch!

Just-A-Guy

Hopefully he gets off to an aggressive start

Carl Langley

Give this man some time in the pocket and we patting everybody’s pockets this year.
