Payton is a QB guru. However, I don’t think the Saints offensive scheme suits Books talents. He may be better off somewhere else. At least Dalton is Winston’s backup and has playoff experience. Dalton isn’t Brees, but he does check down and make good decisions before either passing to the RB or tossing it out. If Jameis gets hurt again, there’s a better backup now. They might want to consider finding a better 3rd option if not too late.
