Hes a pure liar. Just listen to what he said about Albert O at the end of the presser. He says Albert’s been helping the team and doing well and all these lies. Albert got benched for an UNKNOWN REASON. That’s why they ask him and the offensive coordinator about him week after week and they give the same old rehearsed response. Something happened with that Kid and maybe he went off on the coaches early on and they decided to bench him. Whatever happened is fine, but dont lie to us like we are idiots. We watch the games nathaniel, you have benched him and your a liar.

Did you hear that about Albert O at the end? Hackett is full of baloney, he claims all this good stuff about him yet he has played almost zero snaps since like week 3 or 4 and he refuses to give an honest answer why. The coach is a liar, he says “hes helped us a lot, giving good looks to the defense etc etc etc. Truth is hes been benched and week after week he wont tell us why. Cant he just say the truth??? Go back to green bay hackett.
He might as well say you know what we’re not going to win this game anyway so no need for a press conference 😂.
1) Mediocre starting o line with limited depth killed by injuries. That falls on Paton. Not Hackette. Not RW3.
2) RBs and WRs killed by injuries. Falls on Paton, failure to find the right help; also falls on Hackette, failure to adjust his game plan to reflect the personnel available; and also falls on RW3, but to be fair: Back in Seattle, before DK and Tyler, RW3 managed to make UDFA WRs look good. RW3 turned UDFA Doug Baldwin into an All Pro. Why RW3 is not clicking with Denver WRs may say something about the TYPE of players Denver drafts. RW3’s UDFA WRs in Seattle we’re all dogs and ballers. Denver WRs are not.
3) Part of me still thinks Hackette’s decision to come to Denver, and Paton’s personnel choices, we’re all based on Aaron Rodgers coming to Denver. RW3 is a way different QB. A scheme that turns AR12 into a two time MVP does not work with RW3. Different type of QB. Maybe Hackette’s decisions are based on him WANTING to get fired. “No AR12?!?! WTF am I doing here then???!!!”
4) Denver is tied to RW3 contractually. No way out. I fire BOTH GM and HC and bring in RW3 friendly veteran replacements. 10 years of HOF QB play doesn’t just disappear. If anyone deserves another season, it’s RW3.
@Dh3 I think you gotta start by changing HC and GM. And start retooling from there. A HC and GM who are good at judging the intangibles. Guys who never give up. Who are always trying to get better. And who will win every fight, contested pass, loose fumble, whatever. Junkyard dogs that people are afraid of. Skills can be taught. Attitude can’t.

The LOB was first in the league in defense for 4 straight years. If they were carrying RW3, how come the supposedly great LOB only won one Lombardi?
If the LOB and Pete were carrying RW3, why did he lead the NFL in 4Q comebacks?
Great defense and great running game should win the game all by itself with no need for RW3 4Q heroics. Pete and Sherman are liars. They need to look in the mirror. Pete and LOB are nothing without RW3.

His o line is NOT having to deal with many blitzes.
He has no healthy running backs.

Terrible disaster for everybody involved with the organization. Nobody had an inkling this would happen. Injuries have been devastating – absolutely wiped out the running game. Williams lost for the season and Melvin completely lost his confidence. OL is not deep enough; WR’s are constantly dinged up and, frankly, they’re overrated anyway. I feel for Hackett and hopes he gets another year – young guy with a family and he’s staying positive and pushing ahead with what little he has. It’s not fair fight, but he’s not making excuses, hanging his head or quitting on his team.

@Jim Parton Ha! I understand your pain…I’ve been a Broncos fan since 1970 – my first year of season tickets. Got to watch the same thing – horseshit offense and superb defense led by Tombstone Jackson. Denver’s coach, Lou Saban, once celebrated a tie…painful.
