    The dude lacks speed. In the play at 0:28 the reciever had separation. If the QB actually led the receiver to the left with his pass, it was an easy touchdown. An NFL QB will complete that pass every time. So yes, this guy is a reach.

    Anyways, listen kid. You don’t have to be an expert car mechanic to know that a Lamborghini probably has better acceleration than a Prius. You don’t have to be Gordon Ramsay to know that fried dog poop is probably not a quality gourmet dish. As such, you don’t have to be an NFL scout or coach to see that this guy is gonna need some time to develop. (Based on his film at least) Don’t get me wrong, I hope he turns out to be an amazing DB. But don’t go around using that stupid “you have to be an official expert in the field in order for your opinion to even remotely matter” argument. Of course though, I don’t claim to know everything by any means. I’m just speculating as a football fan.

    And for the record, actual NFL scouts projected him to be taken in the 6th round or later because of some of his shortcomings.

This guy will be a good db in this scheme, and even better as a FS as he gains knowledge of NFL offense. It’s gonna be a couple of off-seasons of strength training, tape, and technique, but I’d rather be fail as a full-time CB to get a former WR with length and speed playing deep. He’s a solid football player with room to grow mentally & physically; he’s got the tools.

This is where they valued him. Other teams could’ve valued him and poach him. Just because y’all had him going undrafted doesn’t mean he would’ve went undrafted. Bro is 6’4 runs a 4.4 and has good hips with ball skills. He actually turns his head and looks for the ball, unlike many pro cb’s. Stop hating and give him a chance to prove himself. That goes for every player we draft, give them a chance to prove themselves!!
