You can’t execute AND win with play calling that bad and a coach with zero faith in his offense. Nagy took the reins back against Green Bay and the Saints and the scoreboard shows it
@MamparoGaming – It’s the job of the head coach to get the team ready to play. I don’t think Nagy has instilled discipline into this team, he doesn’t command their respect.

Okay, I hope Trubisky can come back next year with a better coach and better weapons. Now if he doesn’t come back next year I hope he goes to a team where he will have a great coach and good players to work with. I also hope the fan base loves him because it’s sad how much hate he gets from this team.
He gets a lot of love. His overall development has been slow & consistency is key. No question he has not been utilized correctly. But the fan base doesn’t hate him just to hate him–I know many who continue to stand behind Mitch. Getting him “better” weapons is easier said than done.

@Jeff We have a gem of a QB in Mitch. He’s still taking shape but the Bears franchise (especially lots of fans) have given up on him. They want instant success and that’s not possible. It would be sad but understandable to see him go. 😔
@Royale Roque I agree with everything you say but not ready to label him a “gem.” He has shown too many limitations. A good friend & teammate with me and our college QB who runs large youth football training groups, shared some metrics with me where Tru scores low. I do think he has some growth upside yet–and if we are fortunate—could go the route of an Alex Smith or Josh Allen

@Christian White Pretty sure Ryan Leaf is on that list to name a few dozen…You draft a QB you need to surround him with competent play calling and draft an O-Line …the Mack Trade isn’t looking too great either… great player but much more else was needed at the time..

I really hate how he’s been treated in his time with Chicago. It’s not his fault Pace decided to move up in the draft to get him. It’s not his fault Mahomes became a superstar that nobody saw coming. It’s not his fault his coach is a LOSER and has ZERO faith in him (cough cough week 3)

Mitch has POTENTIAL! Think about this way! How could he have regressed after leading the NFL in deep passes and being a mobile QB? Nagy was the problem. Nagy was responsible for Mitch’s development as a QB and now we’re looking at the results. He doesn’t run like he used to, he doesn’t use proper footwork anymore. Nagy never fully developed him into his strengths and let his own ego get in the way and threw Trubisky under the bus when the heat was on. Who does that!? Even if you hate Mitch he is a result of Nagy, who is a result of Pace, who is a result of the Mccaskey’s. The Mccaskey’s are the problem.
