Tears of joy

Chris Read

So cool to see him get choked up talking about what this means for the city and fans.

    jabij1

    absolutely. all the feels

    David Lang

I didn’t know he was a Cleveland native! Born 2 years after the last championship with Jim Brown. The chills…wow

    Rogue Wookiee

Couldn’t be happier for this guy, and all us browns fans! Let’s go!!

    oLooty

I teared after that part. This is an amazing feeling

    Christopher Varela

Yall deserved it. Good luck against KC.

Dewitt McDidditt

Very solid game overall called by these coaches! One big misstep imo was challenging that catch, but other than that these guys really stepped up in place for Stefanski and co. Absolutely exceeded expectations. On to Kansas City!

    Overtone

3 timeouts left, 2 challenges left, up by 19(?) in the 4th; I do not mind it at all

    Dewitt McDidditt

    @Overtone truth!

    Ruth Mackey

@Overtone I do. Steelers had momentum and could have easily came back. We might have needed all those timeouts. Bad decision. Obvious catch.

*duffinmcmuffin *

“Nothing to this coaching huh?” What kind of question is that. Like what his he supposed to say.

    Cameron Brown

    what does that even mean?

    *duffinmcmuffin *

@Cameron Brown the reporter was basically asking Coach Prefier if he thought coaching was easy after today. Basically a trap question but luckily he answered it well to not disrespect Coach Stefanski

Benn Daniel Vai

i teared up when he mentioned us fans. so proud!

Sir Cleveland

WE LOVE YOU COACH! as a young browns fan, im 16, its been so much pain my whole life and for everyone else as a browns fan, shed hella tears tonight

    Samuel Survival

    Sir Cleveland

@Samuel Survival thats awesome dude. hopefully next year this covid craziness will be gone and we can get to see the brownies in person with out losing a fortne lol. my dad was born in 73, he was around my age when the drive and the fumble happened, he was so happy tonight

Luke Kempke

Not to bad of a job eh priefer? I know it was stefanski’s game plan, but you could find yourself a head coaching job with that kind of game you called.

    Chucky Martin

what did he call, Van Pelt OC, Wood DC, Mike ran special teams and I guess made decisions on 4th down and going for two?

Simon Sez

Once a Browns fan, always a Browns fan, you just can’t help it!!…..great job coach, an absolutely phenomenal, historical night!!!!

John Gucci Ball

Congrats on ur 1st win, couldn’t of came at a better time 🐶

Richard Dean

I live in Elk Mound, Wisconsin – I love me some underdog. Go Browns. So happy for the team, so proud of the effort. I was in tears with my wife over the team and what they have overcome. Praise God. Go Browns!! All the anguish and heartache – wiped away with one win. God bless you. Amazing win!!

William Norris

I love my Browns. I’m 64 and was born a Browns fan. People talk crap about the Browns, but this is a proud organization starting with Otto Graham and Jim Brown, Leroy Kelly just to name a few. I have always said that when the Browns start beating the Steelers we are on our way. Twice this year we defeated the Steelers. What a great win and I love this team. Go Browns!!!!!!!!!

    J Damian Abel, RN

    And…Marion Motley!

Michael Marks

I’m not even a Browns fan but much respect for you today! Pittsburgh has had it too easy for too many years in their division!

Michael C. Rodriguez

This has been the best day of my life as a Browns fan. Saw the 2002 game and have been waiting 18 long, painful years. This game tonight erased all those years! On to the Chiefs!

Nisé Aka

I like how he emphasizes this is Kevin’s team. He’s such a humble guy. I hope he becomes HC someday!!

    n n

@MNTribeFan chill. You aren’t a perfect human with a perfect past either.

    MNTribeFan

    @n n Never said I was.
But I have NEVER openly ‘joked’ to anyone, let alone of people who I am responsible to lead, that a whole group of people should be mass slaughtered.

    MNTribeFan

@n n Would you have been so forgiving if he had been referring to Jews?

    Lo 1X

@MNTribeFan go to jail and see how homophobic you are lol im homophobic i hate gays

    MNTribeFan

@Lo 1X So, maybe you should go to jail instead, you can hate gay people all you want.

I was 12-years old when the Browns returned in 1999 — I watched them get pummeled by the Steelers, 43-0, but didn’t care much at the time just because Browns football had come back into my life.

The last eighteen years have been rough. Hell, the Hue Jackson tenure was almost the tipping-point for me, and coming off of that awful 1-31 run, I was ready to give up. But after a regular season like this one, and finally experiencing and understanding what a Playoff win feels like, I can’t even put it into words.

The thing I like most about the 2020 Browns, is that it doesn’t seem like a mirage. Week in and week out, the way Stefanski verbalizes and conducts himself — and listening to Mike Priefer speak here — you can tell there’s finally, legitimate cohesiveness and structure within the organization from the top down.

Thank you Jimmy and Dee Haslam, far also stepping aside and relinquishing the football decisions to football people. Thank you to unsung hero, Paul DePodesta, for showing everyone that you know what you’re doing, and that your voice and input should have been recognized YEARS ago when you first stepped aboard.

Tonight was my favorite Browns win of my lifetime. Hoping for plenty more like this going forward, many years to come.

    Joey Lafko

    Awesome story man!!

    Be you. Be beautiful.

I was a bit older than you when they returned in 1999 but that 1-31 run was gut retching and quite honestly the first time in my life that I didn’t care about Sunday football games, which is sad because I had season tickets in the Dog Pound back in the 90’s (pre-marriage and pre-kids). That said, this team is most definitely different. My daughter said last night while we were watching the game that she’s never seen me so happy before. I think we finally got it right! On to the next one!

Daniel Moreno

Damn he grew up a Browns fan straight Cleveland native and he had first row seat to the Victory

Teri Koehler

His dad is from Cleveland, he got choked up for his dad

Gabriel - Content Writer

I grew up in Cleveland and went to every Browns home game as a teenager in the 1980s (Elway..the Drive..I was there). We deserve this, Brownies fans. Great years are ahead of us. WOOF WOOF!

John Smith

Bittersweet as I lost my beloved Dad, lifelong Brownies fan since 1950s, just 3 months ago.

I’m so sad he couldn’t enjoy this amazing victory w me. (We did it Dad, love you always.) 🏈😔

Neil Lewis

Hope this coaching staff stay together. Something very special is beginning to happen in Cleveland. We fans appreciate all the hard work put in from top to bottom. Whether it’s calling plays, executing plays, preparing meals or organising transport. Together. Stronger. We love our Brownies. And I say this from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Been on the journey since 84. Been emotional all morning. I have a very understanding wife! Love to Browns fans worldwide 🧡
