Most great coaches don’t do well their first year . It takes time to change a culture . Players here under Garrett were ok with what happens they always played like well get them next time they played up to an opponent and down to them. It seemed relaxed . Hence good play or bad play Garrett would clap and say it’s ok 21 you’ll hold on to the ball next time . (Just an example lol) hopefully this coach demands more and maybe some of the players left over don’t like that he’s gotta get them out . Think about it last year the excuse was the coaches (from players themselves, they said this all summer) now they still suck and again it’s the coaches (recent leaks ) at some point it’s the soft player mentality. Forget the coaches and not wanting to play for them . These guys don’t wanna play for themselves they’ll be the ones without jobs next year when teams see this bad tape and pass on them. That and media and fans have been giving these players an out for past few years when they bad it’s always coaches fault . Their just under coached . Or my favorite . It’s jerrys fault so the players never have to face accountability. Either way Cowboys will be fine give McCarthy at least 1 year more if next year they 1-6 then move on but I bet it’ll be closer to 5-2 6-1 next year around this time .
