Catches: 119 (1st)
Yards: 1421 (1st)
TD: 6 (T-19th)
WR Rating: 120.9 (6th)
Explosive Plays (15+ yards): 39 (2nd)
Yards Per Route Run: 2.92 (1st)
DJ Moore also led the league in slant targets, and Julio Jones actually ran more slant routes (33) than Thomas (32) in 2019. Thomas also had a higher YPC (11.6) than DeAndre Hopkins (11.2) in 2019.

Everyone be acting like Julio Jones doesn’t even exist when they say MT is the best WR.
X BEN X this season yeah statistically but he also is in a system that feeds him the ball play in and play out. He’s a great WR just its hard to dictate him and julio from one another because he catches a lot of short routes and julio is a deep threat. Two different styles of play

Brady Winterton you got it. Julio is a more versatile player but production wise I’ll give it to Michael. Either way they are both great. It’s just my opinion and I shouldn’t have push it like that.
@Brady Winterton i agree with you, i think this debate of who’s better at some position is dumb, every player is on such specific situations that is really hard to measure who’s better, i think we all should agree that both of them are really great and appreciate that we got to see them play

For anyone trying to use his stats without slants as argument for MT being the best, y’all are forgetting something. Curls, digs, outs. He ran a lot more short routes than just slants.

Everyone likes to have an opinion on MT right now. I’m just glad he’s on our team. Our offense had to make a lot out of a little last season, but we would have been so lost without Thomas.
