The offense looks ready to take the step from good to great and even elite if the run game gets consistent 120 yards combined between Kerryon and Swift.
Last year Stafford was on pace for 5000 yards and almost 40 TD’s. I think if he’s playing 16 games he’ll get at least 4500 yards and 35 TD’s. Golladay, Jones and Hock all should get around 8-10 TD’s.
Bevell is a great offensive mind and he seemed extra motivated after taking a year off. I think Lions go at least 8-8 and it’s because of the offense.

I will never understand why some fans want(ed) him gone. With Stafford you have a top 5-10 QB that wants to play for the Lions. He’s not a bandwagon player chasing winning teams down hoping to ride their coattails for a Super Bowl Ring. He wants to be the reason the Trophy comes to Detroit. He plays at an insanely high level, even when hurt. Stafford never complains or makes excuses. Like Slay, he’s lost high value weapons, but unlike Slay he’s not disrespecting the coach because of it Stafford’s a high class guy and an elite QB that’s willing to play until his wheels fall off. Where else are you going to find a QB this talented and this determined to win a championship for the city of Detroit, Martha Ford, the Players, and the fans? You can’t. If the Lions can’t win a Super Bowl with him at QB, then we might never get there. Get a competent running game and defense to go along with the offense, a Super Bowl is very attainable.
