Missing no 1 receiver who had close to 1400 yards last season was devastating. Gage is a 3rd string receiver on most teams.

If Matt Ryan is who you guys want the rest of the fan base to believe he is (which he’s not). It doesn’t matter who’s on the field. That guy is supposed to produce and compete, which he can’t. Lamar Jackson missed most of his team before the season even started and still had his team in a competitive position to make the playoffs before he himself got hurt. We’ve seen Rodgers lose most of his receiving core and still produce. It happens with Ryan and all you guys want to do is use it as excuses. It’s time to move on from this guy (period). It’s been solid and thanks for the memories…

@hilyfe01 rodgers/brady/mahomes/herberr/burrow make 1k recievers. Matt does the opposite. Weak arm and now doesnt have turner/Roddy/ and esp Julio to prop him up. If only he didnt lose the super bowl……

Exceeded my expectations in terms of wins out of the roster they had… They played close games against bad teams, and got blown out by good teams so this team still has alot of holes to fill.
Main one is on both sides of the trenches. O- line needs to be give Matt more time, and defensively having 17 sacks in 17 games is pretty pathetic…
We need receivers that can get separation because when Matt has time, nobody is open has led to alot of coverage sacks. Need better d-lineman and edge rushers who can get some pressure to help the secondary because they get shredded outside of AJ Terrell.
Hard to fill all those holes with quality players without cap space for next year unfortunately…
With all that said still optimistic for the future

@Da’Shun Gayten I’m not an NFL qb, he’s supposed to be. How are you gonna be an NFL qb and not score a single touchdown in 2 consecutive games? You can say our team is poor all day, but if that’s the case there a bigger problem.
As a Falcons fan, nobody can question the durability and toughness from Ryan but it’s time to move on from this dude. The organization been trying to address every position in the draft in order for him to win and he still choked. The Falcons should’ve been looking for the new QB 4 years ago but they are so stuck on this guy.

You can look in Matt’s eyes and you see a guy who knows what to say. Unfortunately when the pocket is shrinking he doesn’t know what to do consistently enough. If he has to move his feet at all after he is set it’s over and panic mode sets in.
He should have asked to take some of his salary cap and move it to o line lol
He’s The ultimate professional but one of two things will happen
1. Reduce Matt Ryan’s Salary So we can build a balance roster
2. Live through another losing season next year

I was honestly expecting him to be under pressure here. But seriously, pay him less and build a team. Watching my falcons try to tackle somebody is just embarrassing. Trying to get a sack is like wishing on a star. And when the defense delivers, the O-line just folds. I rather have a bad QB and a great team. My best example is Peyton Manning and the broncos winning the Superbowl on his last year lol. Peyton was over the hill and his team carried the hell out of him. Build a team !

The pocket passing quarterback is coming to an end. Matt is good but we won’t win with him. Time to rebuild. Good thing is we will pick in the top ten this year and next year💯
