You’re obviously no where near close to being the head coach of a pro football team for a reason. You don’t call out players through the media. You establish a system of accountability where you make moves based on performance. Donte played bad but he has also played well so he has earned the benefit of the doubt. If he has another game like this then it gives Matt Rhule the right to make a change, either by reducing his role and snaps or by replacing him.

you can coach all day. Players still gotta step up on Sunday and do what they’re coached to do.
@Steve Solbakken It’s the coach’s responsibility to place the players in the rights places to perform. The defensive coaching did not adjust to being overpowered on the line of scrimmage like the Dallas game and what SF did to the Rams recently. I don’t feel as if they let Cam loose on any long balls either making the opposing team’s secondary and LBs to back off.The players for the most part performed the roles they were assigned to the best of their ability.

That TD pass from Cam to CMC was probably the nicest, smoothest, TD I’ve seen in a long time. (Over 2 defenders)
Defense really dropped the ball this was a very winnable game but we still have a chance just need to win these 2 games before our bye we can compete with anyone Cam is gonna get more comfortable this Defense is gonna get a chance to play with a lead more often we’ll be okay
I still think we should have alternated QB’s the way we did in Arizona , I believe it would have kept Washington confused .

Cam played well. We needed to do better on 3rd downs and STOP THE DAMN RUN GAME. they ran the same run play 20+ times. It was still a fun game to watch. I was there and the crowd was electric.
Run defense terrible. We would tackle them at line of scrimmage and basically pick them up and carry them to the 1st down lol
Lol there’s nothing wrong with saying Cam coulda done more, lots of QBs do more than cam on a regular basis.

We need some help in key positions. LT, C, MLB, DT and, SS. The question is can we nail all of these positions of need in this upcoming draft? If so we will be contenders next year, if not then we will be lost in mediocrity for another season.

No, the coaches need better execution!!! I think alternating QBs would have helped keep the WFT confused. They also should go on record about not calling the game fairly like Shawn Peyton bc WFT was doing a lot of holding and they didn’t penalized them once. They didn’t call intentional grounding on Heinekee as well as the clock thing. Why can’t the coaches see that the offensive line is not doing their job adequately which has cost us some games in the first 11 games and last week’s game on the two-minute drill of the final plays where they should have blocked and protected to help get first downs to get to the red zone to get a TD to win the game. Cam, CMC, Chuba, DJ, and Robby could have made the TD from the red zone.
The best they played was in Arizona. Their ineptness is going to cause Cam to be blamed for their inability to help the QB and RBs make first downs and TDs.
The defense was flat. They had a bad day but it was the wrong day for several reasons. But it should be noted that they have been playing good all season and are the best group on the team; they just fell short last Sunday which was unusual for them.
Cam played good so he had no blame in the loss. That pass to CMC and Tremble proves he still has the juice.
The coaches, the defense, and the offensive line cost us the game.
The defense needs to keep the pressure on and eliminate the penalties.
