Yeah but I’m pretty sure he is getting the final say on what Lazor calls. Nagy holds the playbook in his hand so it is clear that he is helping out with play-calling instead of just letting lazor doing it by himself
@Russell Tolone problem is Nagy’s playbook too. The whole offensive mindset of his is a determent of the offense’s chances of success.

The comment he made about the Steelers starting 1-3 and now being 4-3 seems pointless as the Steelers have much better coaching and players . If you guys pay attention to all of Nagys presser he keeps reiterating that the locker room is very positive and is full of playmakers, next man up mentality, blah blah blah. But rarely does he blame himself or the other coaches for not doing their job. They’re the ones ultimately responsible for the teams success. This team is already in the midst of a downfall it’s time to move on from Nagy and Pace.
You’re right about Nagy — but what’s the complaint against Pace?
He just provides players for Nagy to use. If Nagy can’t use players properly, is that Pace’s fault? Pace brought in the QBs Nagy wanted (after Mitch); he brought TEs and this year: sub “4.4-forty” WRs — and what has Nagy done with them? Zero.
Last Sunday, both Jordan Howard and Cordarelle Patterson scored TDs. These are guys Nagy couldn’t use/didn’t want (it was Cordarelle’s fifth TD this season).
@Thomas Gena The complaint about Pace is that in his tenure, the Bears have only gone to the playoffs once (2018) and last years playoff spot was a complete sham which showed in the final score. He was hired back in 2015 and has made some very poor decisions in the first rounds of the draft and contract negotiations with free agents. Pace is just as average as Matt Nagy. Oh and I almost forgot, he’s also responsible for the hiring of John Fox…..we all know how that turned out.

It’s common knowledge that Fox was “the Fam’s” choice. But that does bring us to Pace’s worst mistake: Matt Nagy (and it could end up being a fatal error).
So tell me, over these years,, which NFL GM has been your shining star,? And tell me whether it’s the GM or his team’s on-field record that led you to your choice.
Because that’s my point: Pace has done more than enough to earn a winning record — if he had selected, let’s say: Ron Rivera, or Sean McVay, or even Brandon Staley. But unfortunately, he chose Nagy.
Pace did everything else a good GM could do. The problem remains — and it’s clearly Nagy (and his staff).
Let Pace correct his mistake, ASAP..

I do like when coaches stay positive and try to lead positively but, just for once I wish Nagy would explain how bad things have been and how embarrassing it is to be the leader of a team that just isn’t playing inspired football. I don’t know how that would translate to better ball it would just help me know for sure if he’s delusional or not. My initial guess is he’s just delusional!!

Well Nagy, I love head coach Mike Tomlin style too. He has Steelers players prepared to play. How do we get a tough coach like him for our Bears?
The Ma’caskeys don’t believe in hiring a mike Tomlin type coach everything that man is they can’t handle or control they’d rather hire a long lost cousin with a tradition Chicago accent a mustache type guy who drives a Toyota camery

Nagy needs to be replaced. I constantly see personal mismanagement. Why Byrd playing and blocking? Perriman needs to play or Dazz Newsome. Mustifer needs to be replaced by Dieter at center. The why’s are pretty obvious coach.
1. BYRD IS TOO SMALL TO BLOCK.
2. MUSTIFER IS GETTING MANHANDLED BECAUSE HE’S NOT STRONG ENOUGH. THE POCKET IS COLLAPSING FROM THE CENTER BECAUSE MUSTIFER IS GETTING PUSHED INTO FIELDS.
3. Last season it took a 6 game losing streak to figure out that Mitch needs to be rolling out on bootlegs and RPO’S. Why didn’t you learn from last year’s success in moving the pocket for Justin? The why’s???? Just Look in the mirror.

It’s great that Monty is coming back eventually, even though Herbert’s stats are as good, but we will put Monty in and Herbert on the bench instead of putting both of them in, an I or T formation and making the defense guess which one is getting the ball.
