@Big block 472 I disagree with that. The lions game was a 1 point loss, the dolphins game was a 3 point loss, dallas just has a better team right now and they only lost by 10. Jets game was the first obvious tank loss to me

Note to the McCaskeys.. You have changed coaches how many times and this team been in “rebuild” mode for how long to be a top contender in the NFL? Fields can NOT keep carrying this team, even thru losses. The OL is horrible in pass defense and Fields has to scramble to make a play, same for the back up QB last game. “Scramble” or QB run play needs to be an option, not a go to because the OL sucks. That has GOT to change. Scramble QB’s don’t last too long in the NFL as noted with Fields out. The QB makes more yards than the RB’s…really? The OL do seem a bit better on run blocking, but that can also improve too. Montgomery is doing his best and impressive at times. The OL can either cut it, improve, get rid of them or ditch the OL coach. Defense is also lack luster, missed tackles, poor pass protection letting them get points and yards almost every play. How many sacks this year? Packers next…we will be owned. I hope not, but again I have to look at reality and watch that dreaded Rogers smile at the camera when playing Chicago. He is smiling not only a me and all the other Chicago fans, he is also smiling at the entire McCaskey family, including Mama Bear Virginia. She is what, 99 now, how much longer does she have to wait or have time for, a winning team? That is YOUR call!

Braxton seems like he could be the guy…..his run blocking seems ahead of his pp…..if he was all the Bears had to worry about …..I would be fine with that….but beyond him and Jenkins….the other 3 starters have to go.

Let’s send our tiny WR1 to block on a running play instead of throwing him the ball and get him a season ending injury for nothing. One week after sending your noticeable injured franchise quarter to run twice in a row and get him injured during last drive. Matt N. And Ryan P. Wasted 2021 season and now Matt E and Ryan P the second have wasted 2022. I’d rather watch the bears try and lose rather than lose trying to tank.
I know this season is a wash, but you can literally see the culture and foundation being put in place by this new staff.

Really? I don’t see any foundation being built. I see a team losing week in and out and getting terribly injured. They are learning to lose, which is not the foundation you want to build.
@Logiquol….The foundation is being built behind the walls of Halas. The mentality of the HITS principle overall. The losing is predictable, considering the low-end roster and injuries piling on.
When those things happen, late in the season (losing and injuries). The goal, for a coaching staff, is to keep the guys heads up and keep them from pointing fingers at each other. They seem to be doing that, so far.
The winning is gonna HAVE to come the last couple games and into next year.

If JF1 is cleared to play he absolutely should play, he has shown superstar traits but still needs reps and I’d like to see a warrior attitude from him, not sitting out every time he gets dinged up.
Alot of you sound incredibly riduculous, as much as i think coach matt is solid coach. a 3-9 record is worse then Frank Reich’s first season as colts head coach lol.
