if Marcus is less the solo threat, he becomes more effective, and together, the Giants pass rush can surprise. I thought Marcus was an important driver on the defense last year, a keeper, and am relieved to see him back, in competitive spirit.
Agree on most of that Judge and staff can get these guys ready and motivated they will be really good…

Golden is a good player, good teammate and he hustles. Gettleman and Judge are trying to build a good culture here and luckily we have gotten rid of some of the guys who would give up on plays and not always hustle. From 2012-2019 we’ve had a few of those players who wouldn’t always hustle when we were losing. It starts from the top and you need talent, but you need leaders and hustlers.
Anyway, Golden fits into this mold. He isn’t versatile and he isn’t great against the run but he has a non-stop motor, gets sacks and is a good teammate and citizen. He came in on a 1 year “prove it” deal and performed. This is basically another prove it year with the tender. He is still young and I think its good for business and to show the team that players and teammates like Golden are rewarded and the DeAndre Bakers of the team are not (unless he is not guilty which seems unlikely now). Give this man a 2-3 year contract. He deserves it and it helps secure him for the next few years when we can start competing for a Super Bowl. This is a young but talented team. We need young vets like Golden to help bring these young guys to the next level. If the 2nd and 3rd players can take the next step, this team can surprise and win. We finally have the right Head Coach and staff and a lot of young talent. We need to ensure that we have good vets and leaders to help gel the team into a winning culture. The Giants will surprise and the NFC East will be a lot tougher than people think.
Class act. Doesn’t seem at all salty, which says a lot about him. Hope he gets 15 sacks and lands that lucrative multi-year deal he deserves.
He was the best on our defense..beast player great attitude..glad he’s back because NOBODY on our defense has it like Golden
