@Korbi I feel like maybe they were hoping to start him but Gruden like the way carr took control of the offense so mariota was put on the shelf but when carr got hurt mariota played his best. He’s the best backup in the NFL if you ask me.

You can say I don’t know what I’m talking about but..if we traded Derek Carr and few first rounders for Aaron Rodgers and davante adams while adding Richard Sherman as corner back and Damon Harrison as defense tackle that should make us way much better.

To bad when the season starts field Goal Gruden forgets to use him or how to use him like the rest of the WRs, he lines up on the I formation with a FB and keeps running at 9 defenders in the box. He kills the moment when the offense is clicking. Let Carr just go and stay aggressive the whole game…
