That pass the reporter was talking about, I don’t know why they ask..MM is always gonna say it was on him and protect his guys. Sometimes I wish MM wouldn’t shoulder all the blame, it fuels idiots to call for his benching when anything goes wrong. They never see the good he does just him saying he was wrong (even if he wasn’t) but that’s who the guy is. He is a standup dude. I see why Art likes him.
Mariota is a ridiculous underrated leader an QB. Let my dog throw it more. He has some exp w Mycole and London let him air some out. TN tried a run first, run always and didn’t utilize everything he does well which believe it or not, is throwing passes, running out to his right
our O-line isn’t good enough in the pass protection brother. They are built to run.
It sucks but he is right. OLine strength is in run game. Pushing forward and creating lanes. Hopefully they pick up a good LT in the draft or FA I think that could change a lot. And yeah Marcus can throw accurately especially on the scramble. Right left doesn’t matter. That TD pass to London against Bears was scrambling to his left. He’s more of an instinctual passer, has to get in rhythm early with some small passes and check downs and then he is ready to rock.

Win the line of scrimmage, win the football game. Good team defenses and offenses can win the line of scrimmage and must, at all costs. It is the difference between winning and losing. Football starts, is won or lost at the line of scrimmage. Good teams build and strengthen the line with extra players, durable plays with TE/WR/FB/RB..suddenly strengthening the line after the football is snapped and an add to the offensive playbook, to make the play work.
Passing, running, a touchdown, a safety, 15 yard penalty, 3 point kick, kickoff, goal line stand, OT kick, winning score…. begins at the line of scrimmage. Be it known, the line of scrimmage is the tilting point of every football contest. In football there exists measuring sticks, a yard line and line men… since the beginning of the game… football begins, ends, and is won or lost at the line of scrimmage. Win the line in the pass, and in the run and in the rush. Win the line, win the game. Laws of football.
And in NFL history, every player that has played football has walked or ran on to the football field of play. Never passed. Running is sacred. To humanity, creation, real football players and football. Smart offensive units know that secondaries always cheat up to stop the run. The big pass appears when they over commit to stop the run, or trap, draw, sweep and the coverage is broken off. The best teams disguise a break off pass with faux(fake) set or run motion… but you really have to sell it as the run for it to work to perfection. It takes good plays to set up any hard break off…the best go for 6. Add the 1 for 7.
