All in on getsy ♥️

Jared Perry

Really excited to see Getsy coach up and develop Fields and this offense and get it back to an elite group won’t be overnight still a lot of work to be done but excited for the process and excited for the future 💯🐻⬇️

    Alexander Griffin

Respectfully the bears offense have never been an elite group, like ever. I don’t think there a bears player in the top 10 in anything stat wise besides #34.

    Dream SnOoZy

@Alexander Griffin when Marshall was there he had like a 1500 yard season and then after had 1300 so but that’s about it lol maybe forte was up there RB yards wise.

    Dirk Nowitzki

@Dream SnOoZy Forte was usually in the top 5, top 10 in all purpose yards during his prime.

    Dream SnOoZy

@Dirk Nowitzki omg is that u Dirk 😱 😭nah but fr I agree he was up there fs

    MR Unrealized Profits

great comment man! pls STFU about Olin in the CHGO live streams though…lol pleeeeeaaaasse. (if it wasnt you then i apologize) and it wasnt only you, but damn…smh ALL GOOD, Just messing around,,no hate man lol

jailbreak

I have high hopes for Getsy, I know we didn’t draft him but even so

    Sam H

What if you could draft coaches???

    Izxy101

@Sam H that would be dope, with the first pick in the 2023 nfl draft the jaguars select Nick Saban Alabama!!

    Jaimon

@Sam H that could be more critical than the actual player draft. Especially in the NFL

    drus

@Izxy101yea be cool if positional/college coaches had to declare for a coach draft. First round would be HC/OC/DC candidates. Then positional coaches

    Thai Hill

What a great thought exercise and conversation! That would be crazy! I’ll Give you Hightower and the equipment manager for Mike tomlin…. lol

JF1Bears4Ever

So excited to watch Fields play. Getsy is gonna turn JF1 into a pro bowler. 🐻👇🏻

    Thomas Gena

@John Smith Yes, and like all the other players in the NFL, Justin Fields is not perfect. He clearly needs to improve.
Is there a particular reason that you are so concerned with this Bears’ QB?

    John Smith

@Thomas Gena This QB in particular should have never been drafted in the first round and certainly not traded up to get in the first round. He was booted from the Georgia program with good reason and had success at OSU only because of an incredible offensive line that afforded him the 5 seconds he sadly requires and physical receivers. Justin Fumbles does not have a strong work ethic, does not believe he has more to learn than he already knows and his only attribute is his speed and he won’t get faster with age………….he is an average RB with weak hands and nothing more and he will join the scrap heap of former ‘I runz’ QB’s in 2 years.

John Snow

He’s great in that he is very artful in dodging questions.

    Jay

He didn’t dodge questions he just didn’t give the answers you wanted

Maw Douglas

Getsy is worth tuning in for every time. It’s great being able to hear from him and he seems locked in. I’m excited for a new scheme more than anything regarding the Bears this year. Bear down!

    D F

Maw it feels so weird, its like Getsy sounds like a real coach. The Bears usually get goofs. This is great…… finally a coach to coach the offense.

    Maw Douglas

@D F Haha. That’s exactly it. He seems so legit as opposed to what we’ve had in the past. Nagy would talk in circles. It was awful. It’s refreshing

Places

I still hate Nagy for what he did to this team

    Thomas Gena

@Sammy Matt Nagy went to the 2018 NFL playoffs in Ryan Pace’s third year — with a roster (and coaching staff) that was ready to compete.
The following year, Nagy instigated many changes (the trade of Jordan Howard and losses of Vic Fangio, Harry Hiestand and Brandon Staley, etc.) and attempted to introduce his QB PhD system 2.0 to Mitchell Trubisky (despite Trubisky’s efforts to offer input). When Matt Nagy brought in his staff, comprised of yes men, the die was cast.
Ryan Pace bears some responsibility — but the absurd claims regarding his roster (which will still serve the Bears very well in 2022) are the creation of a Bears’ media crew of “sports editors” that wouldn’t know a tunnel screen from a birth canal — never having had an actual experience with either.
Want proof? Watch how well the Bears do this season with a “real” NFL coaching staff.

    Places

@J Sanders None of Nagys coaches were in the NFL at the time of hiring. They were incompetent yes men.

    tony Alvizu

You blame the fools that hired him and allowed all the nonsense to happen. And you should blame Pace. Pace built the roster and selected Trubisky, Foles, Glennon, Dalton. Nagy sucked but somehow got his team into the playoffs. Not a Nagy fan but the fault lies with Georgie Boy McCasket.

    tony Alvizu

@Thomas Gena Tom, Eberflus is competent but is no where near an offensive minded coach. He is not even innovative – his success is in execution of the defense not fooling anyone. The other guy is a rookie and never called a play so he needs to earn his praise. Being not Nagy is not a ringing endorsement. If Getsy was such a talent then he should have gotten a HC job, he didn’t. Hackett did. The man needs to prove something other than his media chops. Maybe you are right, McCaskey is counting on you to think so.

Reggie Cheeze

I had a feeling they were expecting a bit more from St Brown than just being a body. He’s gonna get a legit opportunity to sink or swim. It would be quite the plus if he were to be solid this season & he’s definitely a guy ima be keeping an eye on during camp.

    tony Alvizu

@Reggie Cheeze He seems to have trusted Dante, Cobb, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Greg Jennings plenty though.

    tony Alvizu

@Reggie Cheeze Because he was cheap and he took a flyer. How long is the contract again?

    tony Alvizu

@Ryen Jamrock Jr Apparently the team he played for thought so much of him because they offered him so much. Hahahaha.

    Ryen Jamrock Jr

@tony Alvizu they let a lot of free agents walk. Getsy obviously wanted him for a reason

Scott Sands

So far I really Like Getsy and Coach Eberflus and I was happy with what we did in the draft. For the first time in 37 years of being a Bears plan it looks like we have a plan and I’m ready for football season.

    John Smith

Halas Hall has fooled you again, into believing that hope is a strategy……………. another disappointed fan in 1-2-3………….

    R H

    @John Smith here’s the 🚪my man….

    John Smith

@R H I dont use that back door, you must have mistaken me for your best buds……

    R H

@John Smith sounds to me as if you were done wrong in your past with that statement. It’s ok to come out of the closet now bro lol

    JT The Don

    @John Smith undercover cheesehead huh?!🤔🤐😅😂😭

Frank Zepeda

Good man. We are in so much better hand’s then we were. A real professional that can address What Where and Why he’s doing things. Put them in the best situation in the new scheme. He knows what he talking about sound like real solid coaching technique Coach Getsy BEAR DOWN 💯 A breath of fresh air from the old staff and now if we could fix the press Hahahahaha 🤣

    Thomas Gena

    100% Truth

Newnew Johnson

THIS BEARS TEAM IS GOING TO SHOCK ALOT OF PEOPLE THIS YEAR MARK MY WORDS!!!! 😎

    Newnew Johnson

@TTS Cam I THINK WE WIN THE DIVISION THIS YEAR AND GB THAT’S A DRAMATIC LEAP BACKWARDS THIS SEASON BRO….. LOSING ARGUABLY THE BEST WR IN FOOTBALL CAN’T MAKE YOUR TEAM BETTER WHEN YOUR LEADING WR BEHIND HIM WAS YOUR RB BRO LET’S BE REAL HERE LOL

    Newnew Johnson

@TTS Cam GB WILLLLLLL BE ALOT WORSE THAN PEOPLE HAVE THE PEGGED AT BEING IMO…… BOOK THAT!!!

    ikenna59

    @Newnew Johnson 🙌🏾

    TTS Cam

@Newnew Johnson they still gone win this division by 3 plus games bro 💀 Rodgers still there

    tony Alvizu

3 wins ( Atlanta, Houston and one upset ) that will surprise right. Dude the Bears are playing for two seasons down the road. Think it through, 3 wins gives you a top five pick in next years draft, they will trade Quinn late in the season when some contender will pay huge with draft picks for a rental like Miller to the Rams. This in addition to a full number of selections. Plus , next year, they are out from behind the contracts for Eddie (no tackle Jackson,) and Whitehair. Add in another 120 million they have already cleared and you can see a ton of resources to apply towards proper player acquisition. If fields comes through then they have their future franchise, If not they have options. Losing will also give them a very easy scheduled in 2023. They can follow the Bengals model of success. Follow what Poles is really doing and don’t confuse cast offs, second stringers and rooking linemen as a plan to win this year. His contracts were all 1 or 2 year deals also known as prove it contracts. No one signed besides Lukas Patrick and rookies beyond 1 or 2 years. Poles is smart, he will resurrect the Bears but 2022 is by design a rebuilding year. He did a great job selecting two defensive starters and Jones at WR. Base pieces for 2023. We need to lose and welcome it. 2023 – 2024 leading into the new stadium. That is what is going on. Love love your enthusiasm. But not 2022.

Thomas Croce

Excellent point and an important attitude:”Devante wasn’t Devante until he became Devante.” True for anyone and everyone. Stars will emerge. They need to be coached and developed and put in a position to succeed. Lots of later round pics in the history fo the NFL who wound up in the Hall. If we have a staff now that is competant and talented players who all need to win, they’ll make it happen together.

    Thomas Gena

Your comment is so much more accurate than those of the fanboys that claim “Mooney will never be a WR#1” and “Ohio State QBs . . .blah, blah, blah. .”

    shaquille mcnair

man that hit different oweee i cant wait until the season starts

    Thomas Croce

    @shaquille mcnair Me too!

Tobin Frost

I SIMPLY LOVE WHAT HE HAD TO SAY ABOUT JUSTIN FIELDS🎯🎯🎯

supaTronic

Breathe of fresh air from the last goon always trying to fit square peg into a circle..

    Thomas Gena

We “goons” do not want to be associated with that clown, Matt Nagy.
    Please amend your comment.

TTS Cam

I am glad we gone this season on what a real offense looks like ✊🏾💯

    D F

Facts we never had a real offense or real thoughtful offensive coaches,, its alive, its alive

Khutub Khan

Finally! Haven’t heard from Getsy since Feb. Love hearing his plans for the offense

Spirit of 76

Man ever coach that has spoke so far seems heads and tails above knuckle head Nagy. Thank God for that!!!!

    tony Alvizu

Seems, Seems, Seams, Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah every four years of the McCasket regime.

Ryan Tepper

First time in my lifetime that the entire coaching staff seems more then competent and universally buying into the system

    D F

Facts…… for the 1st time ever we have real coaches that are not cookie cutter. Sorry that we had to go to Green Bay to get them.

    tony Alvizu

You are a young fan aren’t ya. This is what McCasket does, lots of seems, Dig out all the comments about Nagy and Pace when they started. Same old same old. Beat GB twice with Rodgers then talk.

    tony Alvizu

@D F All coaches are in fact cookie cutter, come up the same path, take the same jobs, looking to make a name for themselves. What are the Bear coaches all Phd’s. Have any won championships at any level? Maybe Eberflus in college. He is a god but not great defensive coach. Had a better one in Lovie and in Fangio.

D3structive

Thank you, a coach sounding like he knows what he’s talking about. Building on your players strengths and not the opposite. I am not expecting a crazy good season but I feel like this team will play hard and be disciplined. I can see us maybe going 8-9 next season. But the next offseason with all the money we have is where we have to make a splash. Future is looking bright for us Bears fans!

    tony Alvizu

8-9 seems optimistic. who exactly are the 8 wins against?

    D3structive

@tony Alvizu maybe it is, but I can see us being a little bit better than last year

D F

Luke the Force is with you!! Getsy sounds like he has a brain in his head. This is amazing!!! Finally the Bears are trending up. A real coach!!
